Users can select Hike from the Galaxy Watch 4’s exercise panel to see which route they’ve climbed via a GPS-connected map. Altitude information is also provided for more organized and efficient activities.

At the same time, as a part of eco-friendly campaigns, the watch supports eco-friendly practices in your daily life. The custom watch face changes the color of its hands from red to green at lunchtime to remind users to sanitize disposable products they use while hiking.

Besides these, Samsung on its official newsroom post said that Samsung Electronics and Black Yak will collaborate on various themes such as developing applications for smart outdoor activities and will promote joint marketing to target customers who prefer outdoor and leisure activities in the future.

Nano-texture Glass: Apple counters Samsung’s S24 Ultra with its anti-reflective display tech

Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra anti-reflective screen

Apple expanded its Nano-texture Glass to a touch-based device for the first time. The latest iPad Pro comes with Apple’s anti-reflective display technology, hinting at a potential debut with the iPhone 17 Pro Max this year.

Samsung partnered with Corning to debut an anti-reflective display with Galaxy S24 Ultra. The advanced display glass technology makes the S24 Ultra stand apart from its rivals, thanks to its anti-glare screen, which is durable too.

Previously, Apple used the nano-texture glass on the Pro Display XDR, iMac, and Studio Display. Debut with the latest iPad Pro makes us speculate that it could be expanded further to iPhone models this year.

The company developed it for users who work in high-end, color-managed workflows, or challenging lighting conditions. It maintains image quality and contrast alongside scattering ambient light for reduced glare.

MacRumors report that Apple consumers willing to purchase iPad Pro with an anti-reflective screen can get it with 1TB and 2TB models for an additional cost of $100, bringing the 11″ model’s price to $1,699 or $2,099.
