Samsung partnered with ABB to expand SmartThings experience for new consumers
Just recently, Samsung announced its partnership with global technology company ABB to expand Samsung SmartThings integration to more homes and buildings. With over 130 years of expertise and manufacturing and selling 550,000 products, ABB is one of the world’s leading technology companies.
The integration of ABB-Free Home with Samsung SmartThings creates a one-stop shop for IoT solutions, providing easy access to supervision and control over construction technologies and real estate developers, builders, and management. Home remedies for groups.
A Smart Partnership
Samsung and ABB are developing cloud-to-cloud integration, with both ABB-Free Home and SmartThings users having broad access and control.
With Samsung’s SmartThings platform, users can monitor and control the portfolio of ABB’s devices such as cameras, sensors, and comfort systems integrated with Smart Things, allowing users to access their smart home from anywhere in the world with a single application.
The energy-efficient buildings reduce unnecessary energy consumption, greenhouse gas emissions, and costs. Samsung and ABB’s integrated energy management systems drive high-impact power applications such as refrigerators, washers, dryers, HVAC, and more with more efficient utility models.
And, as buildings are estimated to produce 40 percent of global CO2 emissions annually, a smart home connected to renewable energy devices such as photovoltaic inverters and chargers from ABB’s lineup can reduce CO2 emissions generated from other energy sources, can meet energy consumption needs.
From the developers’ point of view, the Samsung & ABB partnership offers a scalable, turnkey smart home solution with premium Samsung devices and ABB devices that can significantly reduce operating costs through built-in capabilities and appraisal management services.

Breaking: Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 gets One UI 6.1 update with Google’s Circle to Search feature
Samsung has started deploying the One UI 6.1 update for its Galaxy Z Fold 3 users. Currently, the update is available for users in Korea and the company will expand it in the coming days.
Based on Android 14, One UI 6.1 is identified by the build version F926NKSU2IXDC and an installation package of 2.4GB for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 smartphone.
One UI 6.1 update introduces several new features to provide an enhanced user experience. A standout feature is Google’s Circle to Search, which allows users to search for information directly from their screen without needing to switch between apps.
To use this feature, users can press and hold the home button or navigation handle and draw a circle around the desired text or image. This action will immediately initiate a Google search for the selected content.
Users of the Galaxy Z Fold 3 can look forward to a more intuitive and smarter experience with the new One UI 6.1 update. To install the update, open Settings >> Software Updates >> Download and install.

Samsung today revealed Sprint cashback offers on a wide selection of appliances in the UK. The company announced up to £350 cash back when you buy selected Samsung appliances across refrigeration, floorcare, laundry, and cooking.
In the UK and Ireland, Samsung consumers who purchase appliances from the official store and participating retailers to get cashback until June 18. Qualifying products include ovens, washing machines, tumble dryers, dishwashers, cooker hoods, vacuums, microwaves and fridge freezers.
Products included in the offer include:
- Refrigeration: Classic Fridge Freezer 538L, Series 7 American Style Fridge Freezer and French Fridge Freezer 645L
- Cooking: 90 cm Cooker Hood, Series 4 Smart Oven with Dual Cook and Microwave Oven
- Floorcare: Jet Cordless Range, Jet 90 Pro Vacuum, Bespoke Jet AI Vacuum and Bespoke Jet Bot Vacuum

Samsung is expanding the April 2024 security update to Galaxy A54 users in Brazil. This update is already live for users in Europe and the US, and the company will soon make it available for all models.
Users of Samsung Galaxy A54 are getting the April 2024 security update with One UI build version A546EXXS7BXD6 and an installation package size of around 250MB.
The April 2024 patch fixes over 40 issues to make the smartphone more secure, stable, and reliable. It mainly resolves problems related to Storage Manager Service, Out of bounds write, and more.
You can check the update by navigating to the device’s Settings, then a Software update, and Download and install. If you have received the update, install it now to get enhanced features.
