According to the company, these biometric payment cards will allow faster and safer interactions when making purchases with built-in new security IC. It also removes the need to enter the PIN on the keypad for users’ convenience and safety.

The Samsung Smart Fingerprint Security IC further controls fraud transactions as it verifies the identity of the cardholder using a unique and securely stored fingerprint. It also has anti-spoofing technology that prevents unauthorized users from bypassing the security system by artificial fingerprints.

Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra

Galaxy S26 could be equipped with Dream Chip powered by Samsung GPU. The company’s next-gen flagship Exynos would continue to feature AMD GPU. Meanwhile, a new leak indicates that Samsung Galaxy S26 may introduce its own GPU with Dream Chip in 2026.

According to RolandQuandt, Samsung may ship the next-gen flagship SoC, featuring its own GPU in 2026. Exynos 2500 (S5E9955) appears to be bringing an AMD graphics processing unit, slated to power the Galaxy S25, S25 Plus, and S25 Ultra next year.

In collaboration with AMD, Samsung’s Xclipse GPU powers graphics processing in Exynos 2200 and Exynos 2400. However, the company has been working on the development of a custom graphics processing unit tailored for flagship Galaxy devices.

As the tipster mentioned 2026 as a possible release timeline, it remains to be seen whether Exynos will live on or Samsung will rebrand it as a Galaxy-exclusive chipset. The satisfactory success of Exynos 2400 has motivated Samsung’s System LSI for further R&D.

Samsung will release the Galaxy S25 series next year. These devices will be equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 and Exynos 2500 processors. The next Snapdragon will feature Qualcomm’s self-developed Oryon cores, with the next Exynos set to be fabricated on a 3nm process.

In 2026, the South Korean tech giant is expected to introduce the Galaxy S26 series. Markets like the US and Canada most likely get Snapdragon-powered models. Europe, Africa, and Asia regions may get the flagships with Samsung’s dream chip powered by an in-house GPU.
