Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE 5G will launch in India on June 23rd
Back in April 2021, Samsung introduced two new tablets – Galaxy Tab S7 FE 5G and Galaxy Tab A7 Lite. Since then, the company is rapidly expanding the availability of these newly launched devices to more regions and countries.
In a recent development, the South Korean tech giant announced that it will launch the Galaxy Tab S7 FE 5G in India on June 23rd at 12 PM. The company has also launched a microsite, which includes a “notify me” button. If the consumer registers by choosing this option, Samsung will inform through email when it goes official.

- $835 ( around INR 60000) for the 64GB model
- $890 ( around INR 65000) for the 128GB model.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE 5G Specs
The Galaxy Tab S7 FE 5G is the first tablet that comes with Fan Edition branding. It has a big 12.4-inch TFT display with a 2560×1600 resolution (without refresh rate). It measures 185.0 x 284.8 x 6.3mm and weighs over 608 grams.
In terms of optics, the Tab S7 FE features an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera for selfies and video conferencing purposes. Under the hood, it equips Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 750G SoC for impressive gaming performance and better 5G connectivity.
Talking about internals, the Galaxy Tab S7 FE packs a massive 10,090mAh battery with impressive 45W fast charging support. However, consumers have to purchase the charging adapter separately. The company announced its four Mystic color variants including Black, Silver, Green, and Pink.

Samsung and O2 Telefónica deployed their first 5G vRAN and Open RAN commercial site in Germany. This exciting news came right from Samsung’s Global Newsroom, making the company’s 5G vRAN solution being used in a commercial network in Germany.
Back in October 2023, both companies agreed to develop a roadmap for several tests of vRAN and Open RAN. Following the extensive trials, O2 Telefónica and Samsung are now progressing from lab to field with the launch of this first commercial site.
O2 Telefónica is working on an even more efficient network leveraging modern and advanced RAN, open interfaces, and automation capabilities. Based on open interfaces, operators can combine network components from different providers and integrate them into their network.
The Korean tech giant revealed that the site operating in Landsberg am Lech, Bavaria, providing high-performance and reliable 4G and 5G services. In the coming months, the companies will expand the vRAN and Open RAN network to 7 additional sites in the region.

Counterpoint Research predicts Wear OS will lead 27% market share in 2024. The growth of Wear OS is highly powered by Samsung apart from Google and newcomers. Meanwhile, HarmonyOS is also growing in mainland China, expected to seize 61% market.
According to the report, Samsung, Google, OnePlus, OPPO, and Xiaomi will drive Wear OS volumes. In the global market, non-WatchOS shoppers prefer Wear OS, while HarmonyOS in China. Accordingly, the Wear OS share outside China will climb to 27% this year.
Samsung Galaxy Watch has a large share of the overall Wear OS market. Google is also expanding its footsteps in the segment, with the third iteration of Pixel Watch coming later this year. Rumor is that an affordable Pixel Watch 2a might also be introduced.
