Verizon updates Galaxy S21 with May 2021 security patch, enhanced Quick Share
Recently, Verizon locked Samsung Galaxy S20 series started receiving the May 2021 security update, system function improvements, and support for easy carrier switching. Now, the carrier bringing a new software update to the successor of this lineup in the United States.
According to the info, Verizon released a new firmware update for the Galaxy S21 flagships in the US. Just like their predecessors, the S21 series is also getting the May 2021 security, which increases the system security as well as fixes the Qualcomm’s 5G modem threat.
Apart from this, this new software update comes with enhancements to the Quick Share for easier file sharing to other Android devices. The changelog shows improvements for other system functions and stock apps in order to deliver a better overall user experience.

Samsung has begun releasing the May 2024 security update for the Galaxy Tab S9 series. The update is available in Europe and the company will soon make it available in more countries.

Samsung has pushed the May 2024 security update for the Galaxy S23 FE smartphone. The update installs the latest Android security patch to improve system security and stability. It arrives with One UI build version S711USQS4CXE2.

May 2024 update for Galaxy S23 series, Z Flip 5 live in India
Samsung is expanding the May 2024 security update for Galaxy S23 series and Galaxy Z Flip 5 smartphones in India. The update comes with fixes for several vulnerabilities and improves the stability for better performance.
Users of the Samsung Galaxy S23 series and Galaxy Z Flip 5 smartphones are receiving a May 2024 update in India with One UI builds mentioned below.

According to the official details, the May 2024 patch fixes 45 vulnerabilities, out of which Google has addressed 33. It includes 3 vulnerabilities as Critical and 26 as High-level. The patch also has 25 Samsung-specific enhancements.
It is just an incremental update, so it does not bring new features or changes except security maintenance. The update is rolling out gradually so it may take some time to reach all models.
