Samsung and Boxlight Corporation, the two of the leading providers of interactive technology solutions are participating in a panel discussion to focus on the hybrid learning solution in the US.

Moving on this, Samsung is focusing on Hybrid Learning Solution at the annual meeting of the International Society of Technology in Education (ISTE). This aimed to find the right technology that not only works with existing infrastructure but is also easy for educators to learn and use on a daily basis.

Hybrid learning is an adaptable and flexible approach that provides teachers with attractive and multifunction display equipment for their classroom.

The comprehensive solution developed by Samsung and Boxlight helps to connect the gap between personal and online learning through interactive displays and educational software platforms.

“The education environment is changing rapidly and the demand for digital solutions is at an all-time high as districts across the country address teaching during a global pandemic,” says Chris Mertens, Vice President of US Sales, Displays, Samsung Electronics America.

Interactive tools for teaching

Samsung’s new 85-inch interactive display visually commands the study area with its wall-mounted canvas and 4K UHD resolution. Built for engagement and collaborative learning, the wide display offers built-in easy description and screen mirroring. It can even handle up to 20 touch points when a group of students finds it difficult to work.

Onboard and embedded computer displays are included to perform most teaching and interactive tasks.

Connected Classrooms

Boxlight’s Blended Learning Platform MimoConnect combines innovative teaching and learning tools to create an active learning environment that creates continuous and uninterrupted learning experiences from anywhere, working seamlessly on Samsung school-centric demonstrations.

In blended learning environments, MimioConnect enables:

  • Real-time collaboration between teachers and students on the same document, regardless of location.
  • Assignments that can be pushed to students in the classroom or at home with a single click.
  • Videoconferencing for face-to-face discussions – building stronger relationships in hybrid classes.
  • Engaging learning using tools like polling and interactive questions.
  • Analytics on student understanding, using assignment data including overall scores and time spent on tasks.
  • Supplement current instruction with lessons developed with critical learning objectives as a foundation.

Nano-texture Glass: Apple counters Samsung’s S24 Ultra with its anti-reflective display tech

Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra anti-reflective screen

Apple expanded its Nano-texture Glass to a touch-based device for the first time. The latest iPad Pro comes with Apple’s anti-reflective display technology, hinting at a potential debut with the iPhone 17 Pro Max this year.

Samsung partnered with Corning to debut an anti-reflective display with Galaxy S24 Ultra. The advanced display glass technology makes the S24 Ultra stand apart from its rivals, thanks to its anti-glare screen, which is durable too.

Previously, Apple used the nano-texture glass on the Pro Display XDR, iMac, and Studio Display. Debut with the latest iPad Pro makes us speculate that it could be expanded further to iPhone models this year.

The company developed it for users who work in high-end, color-managed workflows, or challenging lighting conditions. It maintains image quality and contrast alongside scattering ambient light for reduced glare.

MacRumors report that Apple consumers willing to purchase iPad Pro with an anti-reflective screen can get it with 1TB and 2TB models for an additional cost of $100, bringing the 11″ model’s price to $1,699 or $2,099.
