T-Mobile customers bypass carrier lock on Samsung devices

T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Unlock

Network operators in the US offer the best purchase offers, even giving a new device at no cost in favor of adding a new line or sticking with the carrier. Recently, some T-Mobile customers found a way to unlock their Samsung Galaxy devices without paying them off.

Phone makers sell both carrier-locked and unlocked variants from their sites. If you buy a device from the carrier’s website/platform, you will have to stick with the carrier with the carrier until you pay off the device.

Several Reddit users have found a software glitch, which has been further verified by The Mobile Report on their unit. The hack is simple as you first have to request for Temporary Unlock and then request for Permanent Unlock from your T-Mobile/Samsung phone’s Settings.

While the glitch allows you to bypass the requirement of paying off before unlocking, it is a violation of your agreement with T-Mobile if you proceed. Certainly, Samsung and/or T-Mobile will soon come up with their stand on the glitch.

This hack is a kind of illegal attempt to ditch the contract with the carrier, the software glitch is allowing consumers to unlock their devices early. Whether this glitch is emanated from the manufacturer or network provider, it will be addressed.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Render

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra was missing from the internet over the last couple of weeks. We were hearing about the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6, which may launch in July this year. Recently, a reliable source allegedly confirmed the existence of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra.

The company releases two types of foldable phones in the second half of every year. A clamshell-type Flip and a book-type Fold were unveiled in the market. This year, Samsung is rumored to launch an Ultra variant of its Galaxy Z Fold smartphone with powerful specs.

In his X post, Roland Quandt highlighted that Q6A is very real. While the tip doesn’t mention Samsung or Galaxy Fold, we heard in the past that Q6A is an additional variant of the Fold 6. It aligns with the rumors of the first Ultra Fold’s arrival this year.

The Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra is expected to come with in-built S Pen support. The Standard variant will also support S Pen input, but there will not be any dedicated compartment for storage. Some other aspects may also be improved to differentiate it from the Standard variant.
