The September 28 rollout does not mean every eligible Galaxy device will receive One UI 9.0 immediately. Samsung is following a phased approach, with availability depending on the country, carrier, and specific model.
For now, owners of the listed devices can check Settings > Software update > Download and install. If the update is not available yet, it likely means Samsung has not opened the rollout for that particular region.
With the 2025 flagships now joining the stable release, Samsung is expected to continue expanding One UI 9.0 to more Galaxy smartphones and tablets in the coming weeks.
Older flagship models are also part of the broader roadmap, with some expected to receive the Android 17-based software during October.

Samsung Galaxy A57 users face a problem after One UI 9.0 update
Samsung Galaxy A57 users should wait before installing the One UI 9.0 update. Some users have reported problems with their phones after installing the latest software. The issue appeared soon after Samsung started releasing the update in countries outside South Korea.
According to reports, some Galaxy A57 phones are not starting properly after the update. The problem is linked to an XML file error that may stop the phone from booting normally. However, not all users have faced this issue.
Users who have not installed One UI 9.0 should wait until Samsung shares more information or releases a fix. This can help them avoid possible problems with their phones.
Some affected users have found a temporary way to fix the problem. They started their phones in Safe Mode and then restarted them normally. To try this method, press and hold the power and volume down buttons. When the power menu appears, tap and hold the Power Off option until Safe Mode appears. Select Safe Mode and wait for the phone to restart.
After the phone starts in Safe Mode, restart it normally. This may help the phone start working properly again. Some users have reported that they needed to follow these steps only once. However, Samsung has not officially confirmed this method, and it may not work for everyone.
Samsung has not yet shared full details about the issue or announced when a permanent fix will be available. For now, Galaxy A57 users should wait before installing One UI 9.0. Those who are already facing the problem can try the Safe Mode method while waiting for an official solution.

One UI 10 could mark a major change for Samsung Galaxy phones
Samsung appears to be planning a major revamp of its Galaxy software approach, and One UI 10 marks the start of that new chapter.
Samsung is not slowing down on AI, even as public skepticism grows. Talk of AI fatigue and organized protests has not changed the company’s direction, and new details suggest the next major Galaxy software overhaul will lean into it harder.
Samsung One UI 10 could mark a major change
According to phonefuturist, Samsung is working with Google on deeply integrated AI partnerships for what is internally being referred to as Galaxy OS or One UI 10.
The release is said to be tied to the Galaxy S28 series, and it lands at a symbolic moment. One UI turns ten years old in this cycle, and Samsung rarely lets an anniversary pass without a statement.
The partnerships reportedly include paid third-party integrations, which hints at a two-track approach. Samsung wants AI baked into the system itself, and it also wants to open the door to outside services that may carry a price tag.
Galaxy owners have spent the past few years wondering which AI features stay free and which eventually move behind a subscription. Samsung has offered mixed signals, and paid integrations will not calm those nerves.
My own read is that the company will try to keep the core experience free while treating premium partners as optional extras. If it gets the balance wrong, One UI 10 could be remembered for the wrong reasons.
A decade of One UI has produced a polished, feature-rich skin, but it has also grown dense. A ground-up rethink would be the kind of reset long-time users have wanted.
Nothing is official yet, and plans can shift well before the S28 arrives. We will keep tracking it and share more as it surfaces.
