Galaxy S26’s Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 to launch early with more power!
Samsung is going to launch the Galaxy S25 series featuring the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor in early 2024. Now, a piece of new information has been revealed about the release of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 2, which could power the Galaxy S26 series.
Qualcomm mainly releases its flagship mobile chipsets in the fourth quarter of each year, but a new rumor suggests the company might launch the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 2 much earlier than usual.
According to a report from well-known tipster Digital Chat Station, Qualcomm could reveal the Snapdragon 8 Elite in the first half of 2025. This new chip is expected to bring major improvements over the current Snapdragon 8 Elite.
Moreover, the tipster also mentioned that the chip will use TSMC’s N3P (3nm) fabrication process, which is more advanced than the N3E process used in the current generation. This could mean better power efficiency, faster speeds, and better overall performance.
In addition, this chip will also feature an improved GPU performance, which is expected to be much more powerful than the current Snapdragon 8 Elite. It should provide better gaming performance, smoother graphics, and more efficient handling of AI tasks.
The Galaxy S25 will be Samsung’s flagship S series of the year 2025. This series will launch with several enhancements over the current Galaxy S series phones. Stay tuned for more information.
