Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip FE won’t skimp on display quality
Samsung is rumored to launch its first affordable foldable in 2025. The device is under development despite the company’s denial of the question. A source recently revealed that Samsung won’t use a cheaper display in Galaxy Z Flip FE.
Display supply chain insider Ross Young revealed that the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip FE could use the display debuted in the Z Flip 6. It’s a bold development, reiterating Samsung’s commitment to quality, even on non-premium smartphones.
That said, the Galaxy Z Flip FE could sport a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2x screen with Full HD+ resolution. The panel would also support 120Hz variable refresh rate support, offering smooth scrolling without harming the battery life.
Samsung Display is a subsidiary of Samsung Elec and ongoing legal conflicts with BOE would have led the firm to stay under its own umbrella. It is a consumer-centric decision, offering the cutting-edge display tech on Fan Edition foldable.
As for the Flip FE, we expect the device would use Exynos 2400 chipset. It is a great chipset with no controversial performance or efficiency issues. A 12GB RAM and 256GB memory configuration should be available with Galaxy AI capabilities.
The Korean tech giant could unveil the affordable Flip phone alongside the Z Flip 7 and Z Fold 7. The next-generation Special Edition Galaxy Z Fold is also in development and we hope it will be an international affair next year.
