Incredible! DXOMARK says Galaxy Z Fold 6 is the best camera foldable
DXOMARK honored Galaxy Z Fold 6 as the world’s best camera foldable. The firm is often criticized for its camera performance reviews, especially for Galaxy phones. Samsung’s latest foldable is ranked at the top of the camera chart.
Seeing a Galaxy device leading the camera ranking at DXOMARK seems surprising. The reviewers haven’t evaluated the OnePlus Open, Oppo Find N3, and Vivo X Fold 3 Pro. That is why, Samsung’s foldable has reached the top spot on the chart.
The Galaxy Z Fold 6 shares the top rank with the Pixel Fold on the DXOMARK camera chart. Both devices scored 133 points, with Google’s leading given audio, display, and battery evaluations. DXOMARK hasn’t published the selfie camera score of the Z Fold 6.
The review notes mention that the Galaxy Z Fold 6’s cameras have “good exposure and fairly wide dynamic range”. In addition, good detail and low noise in bright light were mentioned, and details in long-range telephoto shots.
Additionally, DXOMARK pointed out that the Fold 6 features good depth estimation in bokeh shots and mostly accurate video exposure with a wide dynamic range. Nice colors in videos were mentioned too, and effective video stabilization as well.
Reviewers noted that the phone lags in general camera performance over its rivals in its price segment. If DXOMARK had evaluated foldables from China, things would have been opposite – the same way as bar-type phones.
