Samsung Home Up is a Good Lock module that allows users to customize the size of the grids on their home screen and app drawer. Meanwhile, a recent input suggests that the restore folder settings in the Home Up app will be back, which Samsung removed with One UI 6.

According to the information, a Samsung moderator states that with One UI 6, they removed the restore folder settings, because the firm believed that there were not many customers who changed the arrangement of icons in small folders.

Therefore, after the removal of this functionality, the maker noticed that there were more customers than they had expected. So, the South Korean tech giant has assured to bring back the restore folder settings in the Samsung Home Up app with a software update.

However, Samsung has not clarified the time or the update with which the users will get back the ability to change the arrangement of icons. But we can assume it to arrive with the One UI 6.1 software, as it’s the next update for which users are waiting eagerly.

To be mentioned, the Home Up app also lets you choose whether or not you want your icons to swipe by in a never-ending loop or have them come to a halt when you reach the end for a satisfactory experience.

Samsung Sound Assistant Reverse Stereo

Samsung has released a new update for the Sound Assistant Good Lock module with version 6.1.00.9. This update introduces an important change for Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6.

The fresh update of the Sound Assitant has removed the Reverse Stereo function for the Galaxy Fold 6 and Galaxy Flip 6. Samsung decided to remove this feature because recent changes to the system’s sound processing made it difficult to keep the function working properly.

The Reverse Stereo function allows users to switch the left and right audio channels. But now, this feature is no longer available for the latest foldable smartphones. The company has officially mentioned that they cannot guarantee stable functionality for the Reverse Stereo feature due to the recent changes in sound processing.

This update may be disappointing for users who use the reverse stereo feature in the sound assistant. However, Samsung aims to improve the stability of the device so that more audio functions work well.

Galaxy Fold 6 and Galaxy Flip 6 users will need to adjust to this change, but they can still enjoy other audio customization options in the sound assistant module. These latest smartphones already have several new and smart features.

Users can download the Samsung Sound Assitant 6.1.00.9 update from the Galaxy Store >> Menu option >> Updates. Also, they can download the update from the third-party app source link mentioned here.

Samsung recently added One UI 6.1.1 support to the Sound Assistant Good Lock module. In addition, it added Galaxy Buds 3 icons to align the interface with Samsung’s latest wearable technology to ensure that users can enjoy a seamless experience when managing sound settings through Sound Assistant.

WhatsApp Reshare Status updates

WhatsApp is planning to bring a new feature to reshare status updates easily, just like Instagram. The latest beta update of WhatsApp for Android arrives with version 2.24.16.4, which simplifies the way how users share status updates where they’ve been mentioned.

The fresh beta update reveals that WhatsApp is working on a new feature for direct resharing. This feature removes the need for users to take screenshots or ask for the post to be sent privately as it makes it much simpler to share interesting updates on their status.

You can find the reshare button at the bottom of the screen on the WhatsApp status interface. This option appears specifically on status updates where someone has mentioned you. In other cases, you will see the option to reply to the status instead.

By adding a new reshare button to the mentioned post, WhatsApp aims to enhance user convenience and connectivity. However, you can still manage your status privacy settings.

WhatsApp Reshare Status updates

Previously, WhatsApp introduced the option to mention specific contacts in status updates to allow direct notifications to be sent to them. Now, WhatsApp is working on allowing users to reshare the mentioned status updates directly.

Notably, the new features are currently under development and the company will soon make it available for users. This feature is much like what users are already familiar with on platforms like Instagram. Stay tuned with us to know more information.
