We are mid-January 2024 and Samsung has started releasing a new update for Galaxy S20 FE smartphone users, which installs the latest Android security patch to improve system security and stability.

January 2024 security update for Samsung Galaxy S20 FE smartphone arrives with One UI build version G781USQSEHWL2. The update is currently rolling out for locked models in the US and the company will soon expand it.

The latest security patch fixes 75 issues including 1 critical, 68 high, and 6 moderate levels of CVEs for the Android operating system. However, 1 CVE was resolved by previous updates from the company and 4 is not relevant to Galaxy devices.

You can check the update by navigating to the device’s Settings, then a Software update, and Download and install. If you have received the update, install it now to get enhanced features.
