Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4, Fold 4 get Android 14 One UI 6.0 in Germany [Europe]
Samsung has started rolling out the Android 14 One UI 6.0 update to Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Z Fold 4 in Germany. Verizon initiated the distribution of this major firmware for last year’s foldable phones, which recently expanded to India and some other markets.

Starting in Germany, Samsung will gradually release Android 14 One UI 6.0 update to Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Z Fold 4 phones in other European markets. Besides new features, both phones also getting the December 2023 security patch with various bug fixes.

Do note that the update rollout is happening gradually, therefore, your device may not detect the update immediately. Meanwhile, you can manually check for the latest update through Settings > Software update > Download and install.

Samsung Galaxy S23 FE smartphones are getting One UI 6.1.1 update on Verizon network carrier in the US. This update brings new features and enhancements to deliver a better performance.
One UI 6.1.1 update brings a bundle of new features including Galaxy AI’s Sketch Conversion, AI photo styles, text auto-completion, real-time translation for calls and text in images, new PDF tools, and dynamic wallpapers that change with the weather and time of day.
Along with the new features, the update improves the system’s security and stability by fixing a bunch of issues to provide a better experience. You can install the update via Settings >> Software Update >> Download and Install.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Plus existence confirmed in a new battery leak. The company will likely fuel the S25 Plus with the same battery as its predecessor. Is 4900mAh enough in 2025 when rival brands considering 5500mAh and beyond?
The Galaxy S25 Plus could be equipped with a 4900mAh battery. GalaxyClub reports that the S25+’s battery will have a rated capacity of 4,755mAh. It suggests that no battery upgrade in this year’s Plus model, unlike the Galaxy S24 series.
Samsung could launch the Galaxy S25 lineup in January 2025. Since the battery upgrade isn’t likely, the efficiency is expected to be improved. This year’s flagship models will use a 3nm-based chipset, compared to the 4nm of the S24 series.
This generational change is massive, as the smaller chip size will result in increased battery life. That said, the same 4900mAh battery is quite promising – paired with optimized software, it will marginally boost the performance.
While Chinese phone makers upping the battery capacity game, Samsung fans shouldn’t have to worry about it. It is noted that flagship Galaxy phones offer better battery performance than their rivals having larger battery cells.
The Galaxy S25 Plus will most likely use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 Galaxy chip. It is being manufactured by TSMC using its 3nm process technology. Therefore, we can expect a slight increment in terms of battery efficiency.
