8 One UI 5.1.1 enhancements now available for Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE [Verizon US]
Verizon is rolling out the One UI 5.1.1 update for Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE in the US. This update brings several new features and improvements to provide a better and more intuitive experience.
According to the changelog, the update comes with 8 One UI 5.1.1 enhancements related to Multi Window, Bluetooth, Mobile Hotspot, Device Care, Quick Share, Samsung Health, Gallery, and Taskbar.

In addition, the update installs the Android security patch released in September 2023 to improve system security and stability. One UI 5.1.1 update for Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE on the Verizon network in the US arrives with One UI build version T738USQU7CWI3.
WHAT’S NEW
This software update provides One UI 5.1.1, with enhancements to Multi-Window, Gallery, Samsung Health, Hotspot and Auracast. For more information, open the Tips app > “What’s new in One UI 5”. The latest Android security patch is also included in this update.

- Taskbar can now show up to 4 recent apps:

- Added more date/time styles for watermarks.

- Remaster picture: Added Focus view to highlight individuals.
Samsung Health
- When paired with Galaxy Watch, Samsung Health now provides upgraded sleep management, including Sleep Score Factors, Sleep Consistency and Sleep Animal Symbols. You can also access Sleep Coaching from your Galaxy Watch to track your progress and stay motivated throughout the day
Quick Share
- Added Private Sharing to set time limits and prevent recipients from resharing files.
- Added Share to contacts to quickly find your contacts and share files.
Device Care
- Enhanced memory management.
- Added option to clear app cache.
- Added Memory resident apps option for managing processes.
Mobile Hotspot
- Added dashboard for hotspot mobile data usage.
- Added data limits and time limits for managing hotspot usage.
- Added one-time password to provide temporary access to hotspot.
Bluetooth
- Added support to listen to Auracast broadcasts.

Samsung is expanding the One UI 6.1.1 update for the Galaxy S24 series in more countries including Europe and China. This update is already out for users in the US and India. The company is working to make it available in more countries.
One UI 6.1.1 update for Galaxy S24 adds cool features like turning sketches into art, AI photo styles, and text auto-completion. It also includes real-time translation for calls and text in images and new PDF tools. You can also enjoy dynamic wallpapers that change with the weather and time of day.

Users will have to download a package size of 2.8GB package to install the update. Notably, the update installs an August 2024 security patch to enhance system security and stability.

Samsung Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus, and Galaxy S24 Ultra users are getting Android 14-based One UI 6.1.1 update in India. This update brings new Galaxy AI features and enhancements to provide a better Galaxy experience.
One UI 6.1.1 update for the Samsung Galaxy S24 series in India can be verified through the One UI builds mentioned below.

The installation package size of this update is around 3.1 GB. Make sure to connect your smartphone with Wi-Fi to install the update as the size is too big. For installation, you just need to visit Settings>> Software Update >> Download and install.
What’s New
One UI 6.1.1 update brings several new features to improve your smartphone experience. One amazing addition is Galaxy AI’s Sketch Conversion, which lets you turn simple drawings into beautiful artwork in apps like Samsung Notes and Photo Editor.
The update also includes Portrait Enhancements for applying AI-generated styles to your photos. Samsung Keyboard now offers text auto-completion to make typing easier.
Real-time translation is now available for calls on apps like Google Meet and WhatsApp, and you can translate text into images using Samsung Internet. Listening Mode translates foreign languages in real-time during lectures or presentations.

Samsung One UI 7 Update: Which Galaxy devices will get Android 15?
Google Pixel phones will receive the Stable Android 15 update in the coming weeks. The new OS remained limited to the Pixel devices till I/O 2024. This month, Samsung will likely open its Android 15 Beta Program — One UI 7 — for Galaxy devices.
Following the I/O 2024 event, Android vendors including Xiaomi, OPPO, and OnePlus started Public Beta for their flagships, which Samsung has not joined. In the meantime, the company is swiftly working on kicking off the One UI Beta program soon.
One UI 6.1.1 is the latest Galaxy skin based on Android 14. The Android 15-based One UI 7 will arrive on many Samsung devices later this year. While we are in September 2024, we already know Galaxy devices are eligible for Android 15.
The Galaxy S24 series will surely be the first to get One UI 7 Beta sometime in August this year.
