Verizon is rolling out a new update for the Samsung Galaxy S23 series, which installs the latest Android security patch released in October 2023 to improve system security. The update is rolling out for locked models of the Galaxy S23 series in the US.
The fresh software brings system security improvements, stability optimization, functional enhancement, and bug fixes to deliver a better performance. It fixes over 40 issues including 2 critical and 32 high-level CVEs for bug-free experience.
Locked variants of Verizon Samsung Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, and Galaxy S23 Ultra smartphones can identify the October 2023 security update through One UI build versions S911USQS1AWIF, S916USQS1AWIF, and S918USQS1AWIF respectively.
You can install the latest update on your Galaxy S23 phone through Settings>> Software Update >> Download and Install. Before you download, ensure your battery is fully charged before starting the software update and connect your device to a Wi-Fi network, or make sure it has a strong Verizon wireless network connection.
