Samsung keeps One UI 6 Beta limited to 7 countries, here is the list

Last week, Samsung started the Android 14-based One UI Beta Program for the Galaxy S23 series. The One UI 6 Beta is currently available in only 3 countries, while Samsung confirmed 4 more countries are eligible for the Beta in addition to the US, Germany, and South Korea (full list below!).
In the recent past, the CheckFirm app detected One UI 6 Beta firmware for the Galaxy S23 series in about 20 countries. It was speculated that the countries eligible for Beta will finally expand this time. However, Samsung isn’t making it happen, which is also officially confirmed.

Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus and Galaxy S23 Ultra users are expected to get the One UI 6 Beta 2 as their first update in the remaining markets including China, India, Poland, and the UK. In September, more Galaxy models may join the Beta testing activity.
“The One UI Beta Program is open to participants in China, Germany, India, Poland, the Republic of Korea, the United Kingdom, and the United States,” Samsung.
Since the Beta activity is limited, the South Korean tech giant is speedily testing its Android 14 skin for various Galaxy devices. This indicates, there will be a faster distribution of the major software update than the last year to Galaxy customers.

More Galaxy S21 FE users getting One UI 6.0 (Android 14) update

Samsung rolled out the One UI 6.0 update for the Galaxy S21 FE smartphone, starting with Verizon network carrier in the US and now the company is expanding it to more users. Now, the company is making this update available in some European countries including Germany.
The Galaxy S21 FE smartphone is getting One UI 6.0 update in Germany with One UI build version G990B2XXU5FWK3. The update has around 2.4 GB package, you can connect your device to Wi-Fi to install the update.
Based on Android 14, the One UI 6.0 update offers a more refined and user-friendly interface, enhanced privacy and security options, redesigned widgets and notifications, improved performance and battery life, and more.
The update also installs the November 2023 security patch. Users can check for the update manually by going to Settings > Software update > Download and install.

Samsung Galaxy M14 5G bags Android 14 and One UI 6.0 update

Samsung has kicked off an Android 14-based One UI 6.0 update for the Galaxy M14 5G smartphone, which arrives with a bundle of new features and enhancements to provide a next-level Galaxy experience.

Based on Android 14, One UI 6 update arrives with new features and improvements such as a redesigned user interface with smoother animations, a revamped notification panel and quick settings, improved privacy and security settings, enhanced camera performance and modes, new widgets, and more.
The latest update also includes the November 2023 security patch, which fixes several vulnerabilities in the Android OS and Samsung’s software.
Users who have received the update can install it from Settings >> Software Update >> Download and install. The update aims to provide an amazing experience for devices.

Google drops Android 14 QPR1 with December 2023 patch

Google has rolled out an Android 14 QPR1 stable update and a big Feature Drop for several Pixel devices, including the Pixel 8, Pixel Fold, Pixel Tablet, and Pixel 7 series. The update brings a bunch of new features and improvements, as well as security patches for December 2023.
The update fixes 33 security issues, ranging from moderate to critical, that affect the Android framework, system, kernel, and media framework. It makes your smartphone more stable, secure, and reliable.

In addition, the update also adds some new features including the ability to force an app into a specific aspect ratio on the Pixel Fold and Tablet, a new “Metro” lock screen clock, a particle effect when changing wallpapers, and weather information on the Clock app and widget. The Pixel Launcher also has some tweaks to the Search preferences and settings shortcut.
The update is available as an OTA for the supported Pixel devices. Users can check for the update by going to Settings >> System >> Advanced >> System update.
