Samsung’s Galaxy S27 series could bring several big upgrades, but the phones may also cost more. The launch is still months away, but leaks have already revealed some possible details.

According to a new leak, the regular Galaxy S27 and S27 Plus could come with 12GB of RAM and either 256GB or 512GB of storage.

The Galaxy S27 Ultra could also start with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Other versions may offer 512GB storage, while the top model could have 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. The rumored Galaxy S27 Pro could have 12GB of RAM with storage options going up to 1TB.

Samsung may also use newer memory and storage technology. The S27 Pro and S27 Ultra are rumored to feature LPDDR6 RAM and UFS 5.1 storage. These could make the phones faster and more efficient than the current models.

The displays may also get an upgrade. The S27 Pro and Ultra could use Samsung’s new M16 OLED panels, which may offer better brightness, colors and battery efficiency. The regular S27 and S27 Plus could also get improved displays.

The Galaxy S27 Ultra is also rumored to use different processors in different countries, including Samsung’s Exynos 2700 and a new Snapdragon chip. These upgrades could make the Galaxy S27 series more powerful than previous models. However, better hardware could also mean higher prices.

For now, all these details are based on leaks. Samsung has not officially confirmed the Galaxy S27 specifications or prices.

Samsung may have changed the development direction for the Galaxy S27 series, with a new report revealing that the company has traded the “New/Next Miracle” codename for “Trinity.”

The company previously used the “New Miracle” or “Next Miracle” designation for its next-generation flagship Galaxy S27 phones, following the “Miracle” codename associated with the Galaxy S26 series.

New information, via SammyGuru, now points to Samsung internally referring to the Galaxy S27 family as “Trinity.”

Galaxy S27 moves from NM to Trinity

Earlier leaks identified four upcoming models as NM1, NM2, NM3 and NM4. Those names were believed to represent the Galaxy S27, Galaxy S27+, Galaxy S27 Pro and Galaxy S27 Ultra, respectively.

However, recent trade-data information suggests Samsung has shifted to a new naming structure: Trinity1, Trinity2, Trinity3 and Trinity4. The four devices are expected to map to the same lineup:

1. Galaxy S27: Trinity1
2. Galaxy S27+: Trinity2
3. Galaxy S27 Pro: Trinity3
4. Galaxy S27 Ultra: Trinity4

The change itself does not necessarily mean Samsung has redesigned the phones. Internal codenames can change during development, and Samsung has not publicly explained why the Miracle-based naming was dropped.

The codename change arrives as other Galaxy S27 details continue to emerge. Reports have pointed to upgraded camera hardware on the Pro and Ultra models, including a 50MP ultrawide camera and a new 16MP autofocus selfie camera.

Samsung is also reportedly testing Galaxy S27 firmware internally with One UI 9.5, which is expected to be based on Android 17. That fits the company’s usual development cycle, with the next Galaxy S generation expected in early 2027.

Samsung is getting ready to launch its next flagship tablet series, the Galaxy Tab S12 lineup. The company has already confirmed that its new premium Galaxy Tab tablets will arrive in the second half of 2026. Now, Samsung has started hinting at the upcoming devices.

Samsung Germany recently shared a teaser for the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra on Instagram. The teaser uses the words “ultra slim, ultra strong.” This suggests that Samsung could be focusing on making the new tablet thinner while keeping it strong and durable.

Notably, the current Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra is already just 5.1mm thick. Due to this, the new teaser could mean that the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra will have an even slimmer body. However, Samsung has not yet confirmed the exact thickness or design of the tablet.

The Galaxy Tab S12 Plus could have a 12.6-inch screen, while the Ultra may come with a larger 14.6-inch display. Both models are expected to have 12GB of RAM, while the Ultra could also be available with 16GB RAM.

The Galaxy Tab S12 Plus may come with a 10,600mAh battery, while the Ultra could have an 11,600mAh battery. Both tablets are expected to support 45W fast charging and IP68 water and dust resistance.

Samsung may announce the tablets on October 7, 2026. Leaked prices are expected to start at €1,299 for the Plus and €1,539 for the Ultra.

Both tablets may come with 12GB of RAM. However, the Ultra could also be available with 16GB of RAM. The Plus is expected to offer 256GB and 512GB storage options, while the Ultra could come with 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB of storage. Both models may also support microSD cards with up to 2TB of extra storage.

The Plus could get a 10,600mAh battery, which is larger than the battery in its predecessor. The Ultra is expected to keep its 11,600mAh battery. Both tablets may support fast charging of up to 45W.

For cameras, the Plus is expected to have a 13MP rear camera and a 12MP front camera. The Ultra could have two rear cameras: a 13MP main camera and an 8MP ultrawide camera. It may also have a 12MP front camera.

The Plus reportedly weighs 555 grams, while the Ultra weighs 693 grams. Both tablets are expected to have IP68 water and dust resistance.

Samsung is reportedly planning to announce the tablets on October 7, 2026. They may come in silver and gray and run One UI 9.0. The starting prices could be €1,299 for the Plus and €1,539 for the Ultra.

Screen scratch resistance

The iPhone 18 Pro screen utilizes the same Ceramic Shield 2 cover glass as the previous model. It exhibits scratch resistance consistent with previous tests, beginning to scratch at a level 7 with deeper grooves at a level 8.

Additionally, the screen survives exposure to direct flame for approximately 25 seconds without permanent damage.

Bend test

The phone undergoes a rigorous bend test to check for structural weakness. Despite a larger vapor chamber for cooling, the device remains solid, rigid, and does not flex.

Meanwhile, placing the phone in a pocket with metal keys can cause visible material transfer onto the glass back and the anodized camera plateau. Minor scratches can actually be brushed or wiped off, keeping the device looking clean.
