Carrier-unlocked Samsung Galaxy S23 gets massive June 2023 update
Samsung Galaxy S23 series locked models are already enjoying new features and improvements as the company released a major update last week. Now, Samsung is making the major June 2023 security update available for unlocked Galaxy S23 variants in the US. The update is currently available on the T-Mobile network and other carriers could get this update in the coming days or weeks.
The firmware versions of the June 2023 update for unlocked Samsung Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, and Galaxy S23 Ultra smartphones are S911U1UEU1AWF3, S916U1UEU1AWF3, and S918U1UEU1AWF3 respectively.
The new software installs the latest Android security patch released in June 2023 to improve system security and stability. To install this update, users will have to download a 2.2 GB software package that is much bigger than regular updates.
Although the changelog does not mention any new feature or change but it is expected to bring new features and improvements to stock Camera and Gallery apps.
BTW, Samsung’s June 2023 Android security patch brings fixes for over 50 issues including 3 critical, and 47 high-level of common vulnerability exposure related to CC Mode, Exynos, and Knox ID.

Samsung has released the December 2024 security update for unlocked models of the Galaxy S24 series in the US. This update is already available for locked models on the T-Mobile network and the company will expand it soon in more countries.
Users of the unlocked Samsung Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus, and Galaxy S24 Ultra smartphones are getting a December 2024 update with One UI build versions S921U1UES4AXKF, S926U1UES4AXKF, and S928U1UES4AXKF respectively.
The fresh update improves system security and stability to provide a better Galaxy experience. It fixes several issues encountered in the previous version to enhance the overall performance of the app. You can install the update via Settings >> Software Updates >> Download and install.

Samsung has kicked off the December 2024 security update for Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6 smartphones in the US. The update is currently rolling out for locked models on the Verizon network carrier in the US.
