4 Android updates useless if I’ve to deal with green/pink lines on Samsung display
Flagship Samsung phones come with support for 4 Android updates. Longer software support is great, but this becomes useless if Samsung can’t stop those frustrating green/pink lines problem from the display panels of its flagship phones.
A large number of Galaxy S20 Plus users faced the green/pink lines problem on their phone’s display. This issue appeared even without any kind of drop, external damage, or water insertion. And over the past few days, the same problem reported on Galaxy S21 and Note 20 flagships.

It looks like Samsung’s display panels for flagship phones are not so long-lasting. No doubt, the green lines appear on a limited number of units, but there’s no proper support to get rid of them. The company saved itself from the S20 Plus hurdle by offering free-of-cost screen replacement in mid-2022.
However, it has not yet acknowledged the same for newly surfacing complaints by Galaxy S21 and Galaxy Note 20 smartphone users. In that case, users are forced to pay about $300 to get their phone’s screen replaced as it becomes useless with those green/pink lines.
4 Android updates and the green/pink lines problem are two different things, with the same motive. Samsung wants users to keep their phone longer, thanks to software support, but does it do the same with flagship phones’ hardware, specifically display?
Most consumers say it happened after the latest software update’s installation, so if it’s a case, you should skip updating the software for now. I use the Galaxy S22 Ultra as my primary phone. Seeing the reports of lines issue on recent Samsung phones, I’m also concerned about it.
Back in October, Samsung introduced the Galaxy S23 FE smartphone. Since then, the company has sequentially expanded the phone’s market-wise availability. Now, Samsung announced the release date of Galaxy S23 FE in France.
Samsung will release the Galaxy S23 FE in France on December 8, 2023. The company is highlighting the phone’s camera and videography skills along with battery and design. As shown in the image, the Galaxy S23 FE will be available in four colors: Purple, Black, White and Mint.

The Galaxy S23 FE is expected to come pre-loaded with Android 14-based One UI 6.0 software. In initial launch markets, the device was shipped with One UI 5.1, powered by Android 13. Moreover, the S23 FE France unit will be powered by Exynos 2200 chipset.

According to a report, Samsung plans to mass produce Vision Next AI semiconductors using the 4nm (nanometer) process. It is planned to begin mass production as early as the first half of next year.
This move is expected to become the basis for cooperation between the foundry and fabless of leading domestic companies. This is because Samsung can increase its foundry status by expanding its 4nm customer base, and Hanwha can increase its semiconductor business capabilities.

Samsung’s Galaxy A14 LTE was the best-selling Android smartphone globally in Q3 2023. This phone’s 5G variant ranked 2nd in the Android market, while sixth in all categories. The Galaxy A54 and affordable Galaxy A04e secured seventh and eighth spots in the chart.
