Samsung Korean community’s camera in charge revealed that the Galaxy S23-like big camera update would be available for the Galaxy S22 series later on (April 2023?). Although the moderator didn’t reveal anything about the OTA content, it may be inspired by fixes and improvements applied to the S23 lineup.

Earlier, the company’s camera moderator published an update changelog article in the community, which lists all the new stuff included in April firmware for the Galaxy S23 series. Meanwhile, a consumer having Galaxy S22 questioned when the Galaxy S22 will be updated.

On the user’s query, the software team member denied committing exact release date of April 2023 firmware for the Galaxy S22 series. But thankfully, the official confirmed that the Focus priority feature will be delivered to the S22 as well, which just released to the S23 phones.

Earlier, a community person revealed that the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S21 series is preparing for Galaxy S23’s Image Clipper feature. Hopefully, the most awaited function, which even lacked in the One UI 5.1 update will be coming to the corresponding phones in April 2023.

One last Exynos modem flaw left:

One more thing. Samsung US community manager said that the April 2023 firmware update will address the last remaining Exynos modem vulnerability. Since the Galaxy S22 is on Google’s list of affected models, the upcoming software becomes a crucial deal for consumers.
