As per the information, the latest update resolves 5 Critical and 35 High levels of CVEs from Google’s Android operating system. At the same time, it also fixes 23 Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures to further enhance the customers’ trust in security.

Following the Galaxy Unpacked event, Samsung has begun releasing the July 2025 security update, and Galaxy S25 series users are receiving it. This update is currently live for Galaxy S25 users who are not testing One UI 8 Beta, as the update is based on One UI 7.

The fresh update improves the system security and stability by fixing a bunch of issues. It mainly enhances functions related to Knox security, Galaxy Watch system interface, Samsung Account, Wi-Fi passwords, Bluetooth, Emergency SOS, and more.

Users of the Samsung Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Plus, and Galaxy S25 Ultra can verify the July 2025 security update with One UI builds S931NKSS5AYF6, S936NKSS5AYF6, and S938NKSS5AYF6, respectively. They will have to download around 550MB package to install the update.

Notably, the update is currently available for users in Korea and will expand to more countries in the coming days. It is an initial rollout so it may take some hours to days to reach all models.

Users who are still on One UI 7 can install the latest update via Settings > Software Update >> Download and install. If you are testing One UI 8 beta on your Galaxy S25 smartphone, you will have to wait longer for this update.
