The Galaxy S23 series is the new member of Samsung which was added at the beginning of the month of February. After the launch, the company released the January 2023 update for this series of devices. Now, Samsung Galaxy S23 users are started receiving the February 2023 security update in Korea.

The new update for Galaxy S23 brings new features and improvements to Camera and Gallery app. The company wants to deliver a next-level experience with its newly launched Galaxy S23 by enhancing its security, stability, and performance.

Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra February 2023 Update

For the Camera, the latest update enhances high-resolution mode, Photo/Video quality, and Super Steady image stabilization performance to provide a better camera experience. In addition, it improves camera operation stability so that users do not face any issues while using the app.

After installing the new update, you can also see the function of Trash in the Family Shared Album of the Gallery. This means that you can see delete the photos from the Family Sharing album and find them in the trash.

Family Sharing Album is a new feature added with the One UI 5.1 update and the company is now improving it. You can access this feature by opening the Gallery app >> Tap on Album options >> Click on the Plus (+) icon >> Family Sharing Album.

Apart from this, the company also optimized the Expert Raw app and distributed it in the Galaxy Store. Currently, the update is rolling out for the Galaxy S23 smartphone in Korea and will be available soon for more devices.

In Korea, February 2023 update for Samsung Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, and Galaxy S23 Ultra smartphones come with One UI build version S911NKSU1AWBD, S916NKSU1AWBD, and S918NKSU1AWBD respectively.

To install the update on your Galaxy S23 Ultra, access System Settings and visit the Software update tab. Once reached, you should get another tab entitled “Download and install” tap on it. Now, follow the on-screen instructions to finish the software update procedure.

After unlocked models, Samsung has started releasing the April 2024 security update for carrier-locked variants of Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra smartphones in the US. The update is live on Comcast, T-Mobile, and Xfinity Mobile network carriers.

April 2024 security patch fixes over 40 security flaws to provide an intuitive experience. It protects against security threats by incorporating the latest security patches for Android. It also enhances some functions to provide a more reliable and efficient user experience.

Users of locked Samsung Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra smartphones can identify the April 2024 security update in the US through PDA version N98XUSQS6HXD1.

If you have received the update pop-up on your smartphone, you can install it to get an enhanced experience. You can check and install the update through Settings >> Software Update >> Download and install.

Samsung promises to fix Quick Panel issue in next One UI 6.1 update

Samsung has acknowledged the Quick Panel issue in its latest One UI 6.1 update that is affecting users. The issue unexpectedly activates the quick panel when users interact with notifications or try to access detailed views. This problem has been a cause of inconvenience for many Galaxy users.

The tech giant has assured its users that a fix is in the works. A community moderator said the company apologizes for the inconvenience caused by this bug and has promised to deliver a software update to resolve the Quick panel issue on One UI 6.1 devices.

Samsung has pushed an April 2024 security update for the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Plus, and Galaxy S22 Ultra smartphones in Korea. This update enhances system security and stability as well as adds new features for a better user experience.

April 2024 security update for the Galaxy S22 series in Korea brings Mobile ID support for the Samsung Wallet app. Through this update, users can save and use their government-issued mobile driver’s license and national veterans registration card on their phones.

However, only IC cards with a mobile ID icon can be added. Users can use it anywhere just like your real ID. In addition, the update also applies the Google security patch to enhance the performance

  • Galaxy S22 Plus – S906NKSU3DXD3
  • Galaxy S22 Ultra – S908NKSU3DXD3

Users will have to download a 420MB package to install the update. To install the update, need to navigate to Settings >> Software Updates >> Download and install.
