Samsung releases the first software update for its newly launched Galaxy S23 series in India. The latest package weighs 568MB and brings under-the-hood changes as there’s nothing mentioned in the changelog.
The Galaxy S23 series runs Android 13-based One UI 5.1 out of the box, which started to roll out for older Galaxy devices. However, the Galaxy S23 users need to satisfy with a newer security patch dated February 2023.
Besides the February patch, the changelog mentions that some stock apps will be updated to newer versions post-firmware installation. Some apps that will be updated are AR Zone, Notes Add-ons, Clock, Health, Members, and Wallet.
