Besides the February patch, the changelog mentions that some stock apps will be updated to newer versions post-firmware installation. Some apps that will be updated are AR Zone, Notes Add-ons, Clock, Health, Members, and Wallet.

Firmware Versions:

  • Galaxy S23 – S911BXXU1AWBD
  • S23 Plus – S916BXXU1AWBD
  • S23 Ultra – S918BXXU1AWBD

Here’s why it’s a big deal

Since the changelog lacks information about changes, a tipster having eagle eyes revealed that the WBD firmware of the Galaxy S23 Ultra greatly improves the main camera and videography features.

More specifically, the update optimizes the stabilization function of the Galaxy S23 Ultra to deliver shake-free videos. For sure, the system apps getting updated to newer versions will also offer better performance to consumers.

Android 14

Google made Android 14 official a couple of days ago and Samsung fans are now eyeing on the One UI 6 update. If you own a Galaxy S23 smartphone, I feel blessed to inform you that the One UI 6 Beta and Stable update will first be available to you among other Galaxy models.

Over the One UI 5.1, the Android 14-based One UI 6 update will offer great new features and more optimized system performance. Since Google has just begun the development, we are required to enjoy exploring the One UI 6 firmware with sweet monthly patches.
