Qualcomm assigned TSMC to manufacture all Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 after seeing issues in processors made by Samsung Foundry. This year’s Galaxy S series smartphones solely use Snapdragon SoC as Samsung ditched the Exynos from its flagship lineup.

All Android phones that use Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 have a CPU frequency of 3.2 GHz, however, that’s not the same case for the Galaxy S23 series. It was believed that Samsung is using a customized version of Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor with slightly overclocked CPU and GPU on Galaxy S23.
