Last week, Samsung started to roll out the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update for Galaxy A73 smartphones. Starting with the Malaysian markets, the Galaxy A73 Android 13 update is now expanding to India.

Moreover, the One UI 5.0 update installs Stack widgets, per-app language, Lockdown mode, new multitasking gestures – swipe for split screen and swipe for pop-up window, the ability to disable RAM Plus, Extract text from image feature, and many more.
Meanwhile, for lock screen customization, the company added new and advanced tools that will let you personalize every element of the screen. Other than this, the System Settings are getting three new menus so that you can manage all the related settings in one place – Connected devices, Modes and Routines, and Security and privacy.
The user interface of One UI 5.0 software is also slightly tweaked. There are new app icons, smoother animations, faster performance, more highlighted Quick settings and Notification panel, and many more.

Samsung is rolling out the Galaxy A73 Android 13 One UI 5.0 update with build version A736BXXU2BVK2 in India. It carries a heavy package which is sized 2.9GB so make sure to use a Wi-Fi network to avoid extra cellular charges.

December 2024 security patch addresses over 45 vulnerabilities, including both Google and Samsung-specific issues to enhance device security. This update incorporates 6 critical and 28 high-level fixes from Google. Additionally, one previously resolved issue has been readdressed, and another is not relevant to Samsung devices.
