Samsung’s Android 13-based One UI 5.0 Beta is now available for Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4 in the US [Download]
Samsung announced the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 Beta testing program for the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 in the US. The company unveiled these devices in August with a new One UI version – One UI 4.1.1, and the Beta activity brings the major upgrade too early.
If you have the Galaxy Z Fold 4 or Galaxy Z Fold 4 in the US, without any carrier’s branding, then you are eligible to join the Beta activity of One UI 5.0 software. However, we recommend you wait for this month as the company may roll out Stable Android 13 for 4th gen foldable next month.

How can you join Beta
Samsung Members app is the only key to get the One UI 5 Beta software on your device. Shortly after joining the Beta activity, your device will prompt you to download and install the test build of major firmware, which will go official later.

In case you are wondering about switching to Android 13 from One UI 4.1.1, update the Samsung Members app to the latest version through Galaxy Store or Google Play. On the home page, you will get a banner in the slider banners, about the One UI Beta Program, tap it.
Once done, you will get conditions and tips about the Beta program alongside another banner to begin the joining process. You need to tap the banner, then carefully read all the terms and conditions, then click the Enroll button to finish the process.
Now, your device is ready for Android 13-based One UI 5.0 Beta, download and install it using an unmetered connection. You can access updates by opening system Settings, followed by Software update and Download and install.
- Tip: Create a backup of important data before installing Beta update.

The update introduces a bundle of enhancements for the Galaxy A14 along with the April 2024 security patch. Notably, it lacks the Galaxy AI features of flagships but comes with amazing capabilities.
Users can now copy and paste objects between images, enjoy improved image clipping, and search within the Gallery app. The video editor allows for playback speed adjustments and project exports for cross-device editing. It also brings new lock screen widgets, customizable alarm alerts with AR Emoji, revamped Calendar app settings section, and more.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G smartphone is finally getting the One UI 5.1.1 update, which brings many improvements and new features to the device. The update is rolling out for locked variants in the US.
One UI 5.1.1 update for Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G comes with One UI build version F707USQU6IWI1 in the US. The latest firmware installs the August 2023 security patch to improve the system security and stability of the device.
Users who have received the notification on their smartphone can get the update through Settings >> Software Update >> Download and Install.
One UI 5.1.1 update for Galaxy Z Flip 5G
Based on Android 13, One UI 5.1.1 enhances the multitasking experience by showing better app previews on the Recents screen, allowing easy switching from pop-up view to split screen, and restoring pop-ups snapped to the edge of the screen.
The update also improves the Flex mode, which lets users use more apps with the Flex mode panel, customize the toolbar, and access improved media controls.
