Samsung intros 2023 TV and home appliances technology at China Tech Seminar

Samsung organized a two-day ‘2023 China Technology Seminar’ in Beijing, China from June 8 to 9, introducing new technologies for TVs and home appliances in 2023. This time, the company launched bespoke home appliances such as refrigerators, washing machines, and dryers.
The company has launched the 2023 Neo QLED 8K, 98-inch QLED, and OLED TVs with new technologies such as picture quality upgrades, better gaming experiences, the Frame Matte display, and smart calibration.
In addition, Samsung has unveiled its own technology-focused AI technology of Bespoke at China Technology Seminar 2023, which is gaining popularity in the global market.
Bespoke washing machines and dryers feature AI-optimized washing and drying, which wash and dry clothes based on artificial intelligence (AI) based on the amount and degree of pollution. In addition, it recommends courses according to consumer usage patterns.
The AI technology allows customized storage by setting the temperature in various modes in a wide temperature range from -23 to 4 ° C. Furthermore, the micro constant temperature technology minimizes the temperature difference between the refrigerator and freezer compartments to ± 0.5 ° C.

Giant Samsung OLED TV without Samsung Display launching soon

Samsung has recently completed compatibility registration for the 83-inch OLED TV (KQ83SC90A) at the National Radio Research Institute, which is equipped with a panel supplied by LG Display. Both of the Korean tech firms are expected to establish a visible “OLED alliance.”

Through this alliance, Samsung can quickly settle into the emerging OLED TV market, and LG Display is expected to secure the number one spot in the TV industry as a new customer and improve its performance early, BusinessKorea reports.
Giant Samsung OLED TV w/o Samsung Display launching soon
For starters, compatibility registration is a procedure required to manufacture, sell, and import broadcasting and communication equipment such as TVs. It is common for a product to be launched within three months of registration.
LG Display is the only manufacturer, which can produce such giant OLED panels at present. This is why Samsung’s first 83-inch OLED TV release attracted attention in the industry.
Samsung Electronics stated, “We cannot confirm matters related to component procurement and supply lines.”
It is expected that Samsung Electronics and LG Display will dramatically resolve the panel supply negotiations that have dragged on for more than 2 years. Industry insiders reveal that the two sides have only a little fine-tuning left to do.
It has already been reported that some of the initial quantities have been supplied. New products may be launched as early as September. Samsung can dramatically increase its OLED TV sales volume through cooperation with LG Display.
