According to tipster @stufflistings, Samsung filed trademark applications for two names –  Gaming Plus and Game Plus. Both of these text trademarks suggest that the company is planning to introduce a gaming platform for various devices, similar to the TV Plus.

Samsung could delay the launch of the Android 15-based One UI 7 Beta Program. The release date was rumored to be July 29 in Korea and the US. Recent developments indicate that the company is facing issues kicking off the Beta for the Galaxy S24 series.

X tipster kro_roe revealed that the One UI 7 is under pressure from a high-ranking official. While the rumor doesn’t signal any delay, it is interpreted that the software is currently full of bugs and consumers would criticize it if it’s released in Beta.

Recently, tipster IceUniverse said that the One UI 7 Beta has many bugs. The tipster even recommended users not install the test firmware on their primary device. Apparently, some critical problems hurdling the release of the Beta update.

The said high-ranking official could be the Mobile Division Chief TM Roh. Samsung always keeps user satisfaction and trust at the forefront. Hence, Beta firmware released in a hurry could create a massive controversy for harsh criticism.

Samsung Galaxy A56’s Exynos 1580 performance scores revealed

Exynos 1580 could be the next mid-range Samsung-branded processor. The product is likely to be installed in the Galaxy A56 5G smartphone. We are months away from the launch, but the Exynos 1580 chip’s performance scores were revealed through Geekbench.

According to the info, an alleged Samsung Exynos 1580 was spotted on Geekbench. The chipset carries model number s5e8855 and is paired with 8GB of RAM.

The SoC features an octa-core CPU comprising a big core clocked at 2.91GHz, three cores clocked at 2.60GHz, and four cores clocked at 1.95GHz.

It scored 1046 points in Geekbench 5’s single-core test and 3678 points in multi-core test. These are just initial scores, indicating it could perform equivalent to the Snapdragon 888 and Exynos 2100.

Interstingly, Geekbench listed the test device was running the Android 15 operating system. It aligns with the company’s previous Galaxy A releases, signaling Galaxy A56 with the latest OS.

Samsung could launch the Galaxy A56 and A36 around March next year. Before these mid-rangers, the company would introduce the Galaxy S25 series. There are assumptions that the lineup would utilize MediaTek’s flagship chip in some markets.

Rumors are there that Samsung Foundry’s 3nm process facing yield issues. The company is working to improve its performance and yield rate. In the worst case, MediaTek Dimensity might be used alongside Snapdragon in Galaxy S25.
