August 2022 update for Galaxy Note 10 improves a dozen One UI apps in Europe
Samsung has started sending the August 2022 Android security patch update for the Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+ smartphone users in Europe. This is not just a casual security patch but it also improves a dozen One UI apps.

Aside from the August patch, Samsung is also working on expanding the One UI 5.0 Beta update to its eligible devices. Unluckily, not only the One UI 5.0 beta update but Galaxy Note 10 series is also not eligible for the stable update.

These two devices received One UI 4.1 update earlier this year which was their last major OS update. However, the ‘Lite’ model of the series will get the stable Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update at the end of this year.
Galaxy Note 10 August 2022 update:
The August 2022 update is coming to the Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+ with One UI build version N970FXXU8HVGA and N975FXXU8HVGA respectively and it is released in Germany at the moment.

Furthermore, as this is a security patch, it mainly works in improving the security and stability of the device system to provide users with seamless performance.
Going by the new information, the update also improves 12 Samsung stock apps by upgrading them to their latest versions. These upgrades will enhance the stability of these applications and some of their functionalities.

How to update manually:
To manually update your Galaxy Note 10 smartphone, visit your phone’s Settings. From here go to the Software update section and tap the Download and install option.
Your phone will check for available updates, and tap the Download button once appeared. Now follow a couple of instructions mentioned on the screen to reach the new changes.

Samsung has begun releasing the December 2024 security update for Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 smartphones. The update is currently rolling out in the update in Korea and the company will soon make it available in more countries.
December 2024 security update for Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 smartphones can be verified through One UI build version F956NKSS2AXKC and F741NKSS2AXKC respectively. Users will have to download a 380MB package to install the update.

This update incorporates 6 critical and 28 high-level fixes from Google. Additionally, one previously resolved issue has been readdressed, and another is not relevant to Samsung devices.
On the Samsung side, 2 high-level vulnerabilities in its semiconductor products have been patched. The update also includes 8 fixes listed under Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures (SVE), focusing on the Theme Center, Galaxy Watch Bluetooth functionality, SmartSwitch, and Dex Mode.
To check the update, you just need to navigate to the device’s Settings, then a Software update, and Download and install. If you have received the update, install it now to get enhanced features.

Samsung moves closer to One UI 7 Beta release for Galaxy S24
Samsung is rolling out the November 2024 security update for the Galaxy Watch 7 in Europe, after Korea. This update is important as it’s the first security patch for the watch since it was released in July.
Before this, the Galaxy Watch 7 had been criticized for not getting updates on time, with some models still using security patches from months before the watch was even launched.
November 2024 security update is available for Galaxy Watch 7 Bluetooth models (SM-L300, SM-L310) in Europe with firmware version ending with XXU1AXK6. However, not all models are getting the update just yet.
The update is currently not available for the 4G versions of the Galaxy Watch 7 (SM-L305F, SM-L315F) or the Galaxy Watch Ultra (SM-L705F). Samsung is expected to release the update for these models soon.
The fresh update improves the watch’s stability and reliability. The most essential part is that it adds the latest security patch for November 2024 as it makes the device more secure.
Users will have to install a 245 MB software package to install the update. You can also check for the update manually by connecting the watch to your phone, opening the Wearable app then, going to the Watch 7 settings in the app and selecting Update watch software.
