Samsung Expert RAW expands to Galaxy Z Fold 2 with Verizon’s new camera features update
Samsung released the June 2022 security update for Galaxy Z Fold 2 users last month. After the International and US Carrier-Unlocked variants, the latest firmware is now reaching the Verizon bounded unit.

According to the information, the Verizon Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 not only gets the June 2022 security patch but also a bunch of new features and camera enhancements including the awaited Expert RAW support to improve the overall device’s performance.

The official changelog reveals that Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 gets eSIM and Dual-SIM Standby support in the US. At the same time, the update also brings some Galaxy S22 camera features to provide users with the Pro level of photography experience.

These new Galaxy Z Fold 2 camera features include Enhanced Night portrait mode that lets you capture bright portraits in low-light or dark areas. Additionally, it installs support for auto framing function and effect and improved video call effects.
On the other hand, the Verizon-specified Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 also gets Expert RAW, which has its own goodness. It allows users to capture photos in RAW with all lenses including a wide-angle lens, a telephoto lens, and an ultra-wide-angle lens.
Lastly, Samsung’s June 2022 security patch details mention fixes for 66 vulnerabilities and exploits including 5 Critical, 39 High, and 1 Moderate level of CVEs. These are related to improper access control, camera access, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Samsung account, and others.
Furthermore, the feature-rich new Galaxy Z Fold 2 update holds the One UI build version F916USQU2HVF1 and heavy package size of more than 1GB.
