Despite Android 13-based One UI 5.0 for Galaxy phones and tablets, Samsung is also working on a major software upgrade for its smartwatches which is Wear OS 3.5-based One UI Watch 4.5.

Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch 4 Classic are currently testing the One UI Watch 4.5 beta and the beta reveal lots of upcoming features and changes. Beyond the beta, tipster evleaks has now revealed some screenshots that give us an even better look at the One UI Watch 4.5.

First of all, the leaked screenshots disclose some of the new watch faces that will help in giving your old Galaxy Watch a new look. Next, there are multiple new functions for calling and texting including the ability to select SIM 1 or SIM 2 from the watch itself.

Furthermore, the new Watch UI will have batter and new accessibility options, which will add audio configurations and visual enhancements like more color correction options to the smartwatches.

Adding to these, the screenshots also reveal better fine-tuning of the audio from the watch. It will offer you choices as to be able to adjust the balance or fully make it all mono audio. It is also likely to bring micro-adjustments to physical touches on the smartwatches.

Besides these screenshots, the leak doesn’t tell us much else. However, the tipster claims that these screenshots are official. We’ll surely get more information about the matter in the coming days or weeks.

It should be mentioned Samsung is said to launch the Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Watch 5 Pro on August 10. These smartwatches will reportedly run Wear oS 3.5 based One UI Watch 4.5 out of the box.

Galaxy Watch 5 owners can now download second firmware update in the US

Last month, Samsung released the Galaxy Watch 5 series, bringing two new flagship smartwatches to the consumers. Shortly after the launch of these wearables, Samsung rolled out the first firmware update, while, the second is now available to download, as well, in the US, thanks to Verizon.

Both 40mm and 44mm models of the Galaxy Watch 5 are receiving the AVH6 update alongside the 45mm variant on the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro. The changelog of this update is available on the carrier’s support page, which mentions performance improvements for the newly launched smartwatches.

  • Galaxy Watch 5 Pro: R925USQU1AVH6 (45mm)
