Much more is yet to be revealed regarding the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 One UI Watch 4.5. Whatever information we have received so far shows that the upcoming Galaxy Watch will be another hit for the company, if we talk about the features.

Where this watch can disappoint you is its design. First of all, by dropping the ‘Classic’ model, the company is also ditching the beloved rotating bezel for the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro. On the other hand, some tipsters say it is the ugliest smartwatch in history due to its very wide bezel and no scales.

Well, there’s no official confirmation on its design and only the company can uncover the reality. It should be mentioned that Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 series is said to enter the markets on August 10.

Samsung Galaxy Ring Honor

Samsung will debut a new “SM-Q” lineup for Galaxy Ring, with first-gen product coming this year in three colors and nine sizes. GalaxyClub found eight of nine model numbers and sizes of Samsung’s smart ring, which may be introduced later this year.

According to the info, the Samsung Galaxy Ring would carry model numbers from SM-Q500 to SM-Q509. The publication spotted eight mode numbers, indicating there’s room for another size/variant (up to two). Check the model numbers spotted so far below:

  1. SM-Q500
  2. SM-Q501
  3. SM-Q502
  4. SM-Q505
  5. SM-Q506
  6. SM-Q507
  7. SM-Q508
  8. SM-Q509

It’s expected that the SM-Q500 will be the smallest, and the SM-Q509 the largest, corresponding to the American ring sizes 5 to 13. Notably, SM-Q503 or SM-Q504 are missing from the model numbers series. It indicates that Samsung might add two more Galaxy Ring models.

The South Korean tech giant may hold its next Unpacked event in July this year. Besides new foldable phones, the company would release the Galaxy Ring also. The Watch 7 series could also consist of three models including a Standard, Pro, and Classic.

Samsung’s first 3nm Exynos W1000 chip to power Galaxy Watch 7

Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Pro

Samsung appears to be simplifying the naming scheme of the wearable Exynos chip. Samsung’s Galaxy Watch 7 is expected to be equipped with the first 3nm chipset, which would be called Exynos W1000.

The Galaxy Watch 7 might use Exynos W1000 chipset, claims SamInsider (via SamMobile). Samsung’s first Wear OS smartwatch, the Galaxy Watch 4, debuted Exynos W920, which also powers the Galaxy Watch 5.

Last year, the company introduced the Galaxy Watch 6, which features the new Exynos W930. Judging from the previous naming, it was assumed that the Watch 7 series would have an Exynos W940 processor.

However, the South Korean tech giant apparently decided to simplify its Exynos line. If the report is correct, Exynos W1000 will power the upcoming Wear OS smartwatches, the Galaxy Watch 7, Watch 7 Pro, and Watch 7 Classic.

Galaxy Watch x Exynos Chip

  • Watch 4: Exynos W920
  • Watch 5: Exynos W920 [Enhanced]
  • Watch 6: Exynos W930
  • Watch 7: Exynos W940 W1000

Launch Timeline

Samsung will likely introduce the Galaxy Watch 7 alongside the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Z Fold 6. The company could hold the Unpacked event in the second week of July, just ahead of the Paris Olympics.

This year, the Watch lineup could consist of three models, an increment of one model. The Watch 6 has two models – Standard and Classic, however, the Watch 7 could bring Standard, Pro, and Classic.
