Samsung is rolling out the June 2022 Android security patch update for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 smartphone users in the US. Besides just installing the improved system security and stability, the update also brings a lot of new features to improve the device’s performance in every aspect.

The new Galaxy Z Fold 3 update comes with One UI build version F926U1UEU1DVEE. It is released for the T-Mobile’s carrier unlocked models in the US and you can get access to all the new changes and features in around 1.1GB.

According to the changelog, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 gets eSIM as well as the Dual-SIM  Standby support for further enhancements in the overall experience in the US. The June 2022 update also brings various Galaxy S22 camera features, such as Enhanced Night portrait mode to let you capture bright portraits in low-light or dark areas.

Additionally, your foldable phone also receives Samsung Pro mode support for the telephoto lens, support for auto framing function, improved video call effect, support for auto framing effects, and improved App Store Camera app quality with this June patch.

Other than these major upgrades, Samsung’s this month’s security patch details mention fixes for 66 vulnerabilities and exploits including 5 Critical, 39 High, and 1 Moderate level of CVEs from Samsung and Google. These are related to improper access control, camera access, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Samsung account, and others.

Verizon is rolling out the second February 2023 security update for Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Plus in the US. This update applies the latest security patch to enhance the security of the devices as well as improve Keyboard performance.

The Korean tech giant first released the February 2023 patch for the Galaxy S8 Plus with One UI 5.1 update in early March. Now, Verizon Galaxy S8 Plus users are enjoying another update before the month of March is over.

Verizon starts rolling out February 2023 security patch to Samsung Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10, and Galaxy S10 Plus. Recently, T-Mobile released the same leveled Android patches to the company’s legendary smartphone lineup launched in 2019.

According to Verizon, the February 2023 update brings performance improvements and the most up-to-date Android security patch on your Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10, or Galaxy S10 Plus device. Since no major OS support is left, the S10 series is approaching the end of support list.

Era of longer support begins?
