There are a lot of terms and conditions you should be aware of (via Android Authority). First of all, the front display is all that deserves repair. It will not work to repair the frame and back glass.

The Galaxy Z Flip or Z Fold series is not applicable to the offer. Galaxy S9, Galaxy Note 9, and newer smartphone users including Galaxy A series can claim a repair but surprisingly, S20 FE and S21 FE models are also not eligible.

Secondly, you cannot use a walk-in option for the repair. You will have to initiate the screen replacement process through the company’s service page by logging into your Samsung account, you cannot claim the discount without a Samsung account. And then, mail the phone to the company.

It should also be noted that Samsung may refuse to fix it under the promotion if the frame or bezel of your device is bent or has deep scratches. Also, UBreakIFix, Best Buy, and other Samsung repair partners are not participating, so you will contact Samsung for this.

Apple iPhone 15 Pro Overheating

Apple’s newly released iPhone 15 Pro models evolved controversial over the heating problems. Various users complain that their device gets warm even without heavy usage. Well, Apple has finally decided to acknowledge overheating issues with the iPhone 15 Pro.

The iPhone maker issued a statement via Forbes, as to how it plans to address the problems. Apple has finally acknowledged that the iPhone 15 Pro series is having overheating problems. The company will release a new iOS 17 update for the devices soon.

Apple said the following: “We have identified a few conditions which can cause iPhone to run warmer than expected. The device may feel warmer during the first few days after setting up or restoring the device because of increased background activity”.

Apple’s statement notes that recent updates to some third-party apps on iOS 17, like Instagram, Asphalt 9, and Uber, overload the A17 Pro chip’s CPU, causing the iPhone to get warmer than normal. The optimization work is underway along with implementing necessary fixes to completely address the problem.
