Rather than touching the Delete button while deleting the text you’ve typed, you can swipe left on the keyboard with two fingers to undo it. If you want to restore deleted text again, swipe right with two fingers on the keyboard to restore the deleted text.

Quick access to change the keyboard input type

There is an easy and fast way to change the keyboard input type settings when using the Samsung keyboard. You don’t even need to open Settings from the home screen to find it. If you want to change keyboard format while already using the Samsung keyboard, then follow the below steps.

  • Tap the keyboard icon at the bottom of the keyboard.
  • Tap the Settings icon on the right side of the Samsung Keyboard.
  • Tap Language and types.
  • Select the language you are using.
  • Select the language input type you want to use.

You can use the translation input function on the Samsung keyboard to easily translate from one language to another while typing a message.

  • Tap More options (the three horizontal dots) in the upper right corner of the keyboard.
  • Select Translate.
  • Select the language you want to input and the language you want to translate.
  • Enter text and tap the Translate button.

Voice input function

The Samsung keyboard allows you to enter long texts by voice.

  • Tap the microphone icon at the top of the keyboard.
  • Immediately say what you want to type.
  • Tap the moving microphone icon.
  • What you say is converted to text and entered correctly.

Access Samsung Pass information from your keyboard

If you use Samsung Pass on your Galaxy phone, you can easily remove information from your Samsung Pass app using the Samsung keyboard.

  • Tap More options (the three horizontal dots) in the upper right corner of the keyboard.
  • Select the Samsung Pass icon.
  • As soon as your identity is verified, the account number saved in Samsung Pass will be displayed.
  • Tap the account number and it will be entered in the text window.
    • Other card information, addresses, IDs, and passwords can also be stored and recalled at any time.

The Intelligent Optimization feature allows users to adjust how their photos are processed. Whether capturing everyday moments or professional shots, the Intelligent Optimization feature in One UI 6.1 ensures that your photos meet your standards with minimal effort.

How to activate it?

You can easily enable the Intelligent Optimization feature by following the steps below.

  • Open the Camera app, then Settings.
  • Tap on Intelligent Optimization.
  • Choose the desired optimization level
    • Maximum
    • Medium: Speed up capture time by doing less optimization
    • Minimum: Take pictures as fast as possible by not optimizing pictures after they are taken.
  • Optionally, enable or disable the Scene Optimizer.

Samsung One UI 6.1 Intelligent Optimization

This feature allows for customization of photo attributes such as sharpness, contrast, and brightness. For example, selecting the minimum level results in more natural-looking images, while the maximum level increases detail and sharpness, which is ideal for zoomed-in shots. Notably, the quality optimization setting of these levels only affects Photo Mode.

If you enable Scene Optimizer, it automatically optimizes the color and contrast of pictures to make dark scenes look brighter, food looks tastier and landscapes look more vivid.
