Samsung launches #YouMake, makes you feel more connected

Samsung Electronics has unveiled the #YouMake campaign, a global marketing platform that allows consumers to take the lead with device customization. This project was first announced at CES 2022 earlier this year, with the ambitious goal of empowering its users around the world to reflect their evolving lifestyles across their devices.

According to Samsung, the #YouMake campaign will roll out across France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, the United Kingdom, the United States, and South Korea by May, and will expand to more regions in the upcoming days.

The Vice-Chairman, CEO of Samsung Electronics Device eXperience division Jong-Hee (JH) Han, said “At Samsung, we work toward a future where technology is seamless and user-centered. A future where connected experiences bring people together and unlock new value in our lives and society.”

The #YouMake offers new ways to help users to make the most out of their devices to suit their needs and lifestyles. This platform offers a better way of personalization and connectivity through a customized control enabled by SmartThings and IoT solutions.

To start the campaign, Samsung has launched the #YouMake Page on Samsung.com and introduced a series of various products that can be personalized to fit users’ style, space, and daily routine.

The list of devices includes smartphones, TVs, refrigerators to wearables, and more. You will see various pickup choices given by Samsung such as Galaxy Z Flip3 Bespoke Edition, Galaxy Watch 4 Bespoke Edition, and Bespoke Refrigerators.

The platform offers color customization options with the new FreeStyle projector and Samsung Smart Monitor M8, also offering colors for devices such as Galaxy S22. You can even choose the color of your phone’s back panel and customize it according to your personality.

Verizon is rolling out the May 2024 security update for Samsung Galaxy A12 smartphones in the US. The update is available for locked models with One UI build A125USQS8CXE6. It is an initial rollout so it may take some days or weeks to reach all models.

The company is dispatching the latest software update with system security improvements to keep your files and data safe on your phone. It also optimizes system stability to offer you uninterrupted and seamless functionality on your device.

The fresh security patch fixes over 45 issues to make the smartphone more secure, stable, and reliable. It includes 3 critical and 26 high-level CVEs, as well as 25 SVE items. This update ensures that you don’t encounter any crashing or freezing problems while handling the phone.

To install the May 2024 update on your Galaxy A12 smartphone manually, head toward the Settings app. At the bottom, you will get the Software Update section, simply open it. Inside the submenu, you need to hit the Download and Install button if your Galaxy fetches a new OTA.

Earlier this year, Samsung launched the Galaxy S24 series internationally. The company launched various exclusive color variants through the online channel. Of those hues, Samsung’s exclusive Galaxy S24 Marble Gray is arriving in India as an offline product.

According to TechOutlook, Samsung could soon avail the Galaxy S24 in Marble Gray to the offline channel in India. It will be available for purchase in 128GB and 256GB storage options, with pricing rumored to be around INR 74,999 and INR 79,999, respectively.

Evidence attached to the claim suggests memory variants, pricing, and Marble Gray color. The image has no additional details to share with fans. It remains to be seen when it will be up on sale in the market, or if the company has already unloaded the stocks.

Despite being an exclusive variant, the smartphone will share all the specs and features with the Standard model. The company sells Exynos 2400-powered Galaxy S24 and S24 Plus in India. However, this chipset is not too behind against its Snapdragon counterpart.
