This isn’t the first hiccup for One UI 7.0 for the Galaxy S24 series. Samsung had paused the rollout on April 11-12, due to a serious bug that caused screen unlock issues. The update resumed last week with a new build, BYD9, for the S24 series.
Despite the fix, download problems persist for some users. It’s being claimed that Samsung’s servers might lack the capacity to handle global updates simultaneously. However, there’s no denying that poor network conditions as a possible cause.
For now, affected users can try again later or check their network connection. The company has not yet addressed this latest issue, but users remain hopeful for a quick resolution to enjoy the new One UI 7 features.
Possible Workaround
Users facing issues can Pause the update download and Restart their device. Once done, Resume the download and let it process further. Repeat this process to get the software downloaded fully to unlock access to Install the OTA.
