Samsung India to unveil six new Galaxy Laptops on March 17

Samsung is all set for its upcoming ‘Awesome Galaxy A Event’ to be held on 17th March 2022. As the date is getting closer, suspicious pages of the event related to launching products keep popping up. Recently, Samsung India has announced that it will launch six Galaxy Book laptops during the event.

As per the report, Samsung is making a comeback in the Indian PC market after eight years with the most affordable Galaxy Books and is set to launch six new Galaxy laptops during the upcoming event, which includes

Meanwhile, Sandeep Poswal, Managing Director and Head of New Computer Business at Samsung India, stated that Samsung is set to launch the latest Galaxy Books laptops at the starting price of 40,000. Alongside, the company will provide several bundle gifts, cashback offers to attract buyers towards pre-booking the new models.

Samsung is coming back to India after eight years with a laptop this is because of huge demand and consumers feedback. Poswal said, “We are entering the market in a big way to disrupt the way consumers are using [laptops], and hence our tagline is ‘the new way to PC’.

The users can purchase the upcoming laptops through Samsung official store and Amazon. Samsung might have faced competition from other brands of Laptops like  Acer, ASUS, Dell, HP, Lenovo, MSI, Realme, and Xiaomi.

New Samsung Galaxy S23 firmware updates LTE TDD band support in Europe

Following the Galaxy S24 series, Samsung is rolling out a new firmware update with enhanced LTE band support for the Galaxy S23 series in Europe. It is a region-specific update and aims to improve the network for a better user experience.

Users of Samsung Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, and Galaxy S23 Ultra smartphones are getting the second April 2024 update in Europe with One UI build version S911BXXU3CXD3, S916BXXU3CXD3, and S918BXXU3CXD3 respectively.

WHAT’S NEW 

The new firmware of the Samsung Galaxy S23 in Europe updates the Regional LTE TDD band support to provide better network performance across various European countries.

Notably, there’s a limitation for German users. Galaxy S24 models bought in Germany will not support LTE TDD band signals in certain countries, including Belgium, Denmark, France, Luxemburg, Netherlands, Austria, Poland, Switzerland, and the Czech Republic.

Users can check new software updates manually with a handful of simple steps. Firstly, visit your Galaxy device’s “System Settings,” once done, scroll down and tap the “Software update” tab, followed by the “Download and install” button.

April 2024 is going on Samsung has kicked off the second software update for users of the Galaxy S24 series in Europe. This update introduces an essential change for the Regional LTE TDD band support.

The second April 2024 update for the Samsung Galaxy S24 series updates the Regional LTE TDD band support for better network compatibility and performance across various regions.

However, it’s important to note that Galaxy S24 models purchased in Germany will not be able to receive signals in LTE TDD bands in several countries, including Belgium, Denmark, France, Luxemburg, Netherlands, Austria, Poland, Switzerland, and the Czech Republic.

In addition, the update brings bug fixes, stability optimization, and functional enhancement for the optimal performance of smartphones.

Phase 2 | Samsung Galaxy AI One UI 6.1 Expansion

Hearing heavy demands from consumers, Samsung announced the Phase 2 expansion of Galaxy AI and One UI 6.1. Under the next phase, all flagship devices released in 2022 will be upgraded to Samsung’s One UI 6.1 software, which also introduces Galaxy AI features.

Samsung itself confirmed One UI 6.1 with Galaxy AI coming to 2022 flagships in Phase 2. In case you are wondering about even broad expansion, we believe it is unlikely due to hardware limitations. Flagships from 2021 are unlikely to get Galaxy AI, which One UI 6.1 would be offered.

Samsung Phase 2 Expansion of One UI 6.1 & Galaxy AI

Samsung Galaxy S22, S22 Plus, and S22 Ultra will get One UI 6.1 with Galaxy AI. In addition, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 are also eligible. The company will offer the same treatment to the Galaxy Tab S9 trio, which includes Standard, Plus, and Ultra models.

As far as the release date is concerned, it’s scheduled to begin in May 2024. Once initiated, the South Korean tech giant will gradually expand its availability internationally. Models that are ineligible for Galaxy AI may start getting One UI 6.1 enhancements.
