Galaxy S22 Reflection and Shadow eraser feature reaches other Samsung phones, here’s how to use
Samsung Galaxy S22 series offers various top-notch hardware. At the same time, it also comes with numerous unique software features as it comes with Android 12 based One UI 4.1 OS. Some of those noteworthy features are the Reflection eraser and Shadow eraser.
It seems that the two new functionalities of Galaxy S22 have started reaching other Galaxy phones too. Recently, Samsung has begun releasing a new update for its Photo Editor app that is available through the Galaxy Store.

This Photo Editor app update has arrived on many Galaxy devices that are running on the Android 12 based One UI 4.0 software system. The list of devices includes various Galaxy Z Fold, Galaxy Z Flip, Galaxy S, and Galaxy Note series smartphones.
As the name mentions, these two features give you the ability to remove unwanted shadows and reflections from images with just a single tap of a button. Currently, the features are a part of Samsung Labs, which means they are in the beta phase.
To use these features, you’ll have to update the Photo Editor app and download Object Eraser, Reflection Eraser, and Shadow Eraser plugins on your respective Galaxy device.

How to enable and use:
- Go to Samsung Gallery.
- Open the image you want to edit.
- Tap three dots, given at the top.
- Click on Labs.
- Turn the toggles for Share Eraser and Reflection Eraser.
- Hit the back button and click on Object Eraser.
- Draw around shadows or reflections that you want to remove from the image.
- Click on the Erase Shadows or the Erase Reflections button.
Yesterday, we saw the Samsung Galaxy S24 series renders that revealed the phones’ design. While the Galaxy S24 and S24+ feature flat frame design, the S24 Ultra apparently brings the narrowest bezel in history. The same source now posted cropped images so you can better understand the design changes.
Samsung has slightly changed the aspect ratio of the Galaxy S24 Ultra. This results in changes in the middle frame, and ditches the curved edges, indicating a flat display design. In the video below, you can see the transformation of the S23 Ultra into the upcoming S24 Ultra device.

As you can see in the comparison renders, the Galaxy S24 Ultra has an almost flat design as compared to its predecessor. The company has already reduced the curvature with the S23 Ultra this year, and it’s going to be flat, starting with the S24 Ultra next year.

Samsung recently unveiled its fifth-generation foldable smartphones in China, where they have different names and features than the global versions. The Samsung W24 is the rebranded version of the Galaxy Z Fold 5, while the Samsung W24 Flip is of the Galaxy Z Flip 5. These phones have some differences in aspects like RAM, weight, and wallpapers.
The Samsung W24 and W24 Flip come with exclusive wallpapers that are not available on the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5. These wallpapers have feather-like designs with various colors, which look stunning on foldable screens. There are four wallpapers for the W24 and five wallpapers for the W24 Flip.

The new flat frame is a significant design overhaul that Samsung enthusiasts will see with the Galaxy S24 and S24 Plus. On the front, there is a tiny punch-hole design consisting of the selfie snapper sensor, while the rear three cameras are placed vertically on the top left panel.
