At the Galaxy Unpacked 2022, along with the Galaxy S22 series Samsung today announced its new Galaxy Tab S8 series, the Galaxy Tab S8 and Tab S8 Plus, and the first-ever Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra tablet in the lineup with the biggest, boldest display and most powerful performance Galaxy Tab S has ever offered.

Starting with the top-of-the-line Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, it is a massive tablet, thanks to the 14.6-inch (2960 x 1848 pixels) OLED display, which is pushed directly into the 2-in-1 category. The screen with a layer of Gorilla Glass 5 on top provides a 120Hz refresh rate to prevent scratches.

At its core, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 system chip, generously paired with 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of onboard storage. Interestingly, Samsung kept the microSD card slot intact for storage expansion.

Availability

The Galaxy Tab S8 Series will be available for pre-order at 10am EST on February 9th and will officially launch in February in select markets including US, Europe and Korea.
