How to use wireless power share on your Samsung Galaxy S21 FE?
While most of us plug in to charge our wearables, several users use their smartphone’s wireless charging technology to charge their earbuds and watches. This technology is known as reverse wireless charging or wireless power share.
It transfers energy to the receiving device through electromagnetic induction. However, it applies to Qi-certified devices, which is a common standard, thus, as long as the device can be charged through Qi, you can power it from your mobile phone.

How to use wireless power share on Samsung Galaxy S21 FE:
- From Settings, tap Battery and device care.
- Then click on Battery > Wireless power-sharing.
- Tap the Battery limit and choose a percentage. Once the device you are charging has reached this level of charge, wireless power-sharing automatically turns off.
- Tap the toggle to turn on the charging feature.
- With the phone face down, place the compatible device on the back of the phone to charge. A notification sound or vibration occurs when charging begins.
Before you begin:
Wireless power-sharing works with most Qi-Certified devices. It requires minimum 30% battery to share. Speed and power efficiency of charge vary by device. It may not work with some accessories, covers, or other manufacturer’s devices.
For best results, do note –
- If you have trouble connecting or charging is slow, remove any cover from each device.
- The location of the wireless charging coil may vary by device, so you may need to adjust the placement to make a connection. When charging starts, a notification or vibration will occur, so the notification will help you know you’ve made a connection.
- Call reception or data services may be affected, depending on your network environment.
- Charging speed or efficiency can vary depending on device condition or surrounding environment.
- Do not use headphones while charging with Wireless power-sharing.

The first time you open it, you’ll have to set your lock type to either a PIN, pattern, or password, with fingerprint authentication can be enabled as well. Anything you create within the Secure Folder will be automatically stored here, but you can also move data here at any time.
For instance, if you want to keep a copy of your driver’s license, you can take a photo of it using the Camera app within Secure Folder, or you can pick a photo in your Gallery, tap the options menu (the three dots) and then select ‘Move to Secure Folder.’

- Enable the Motion Photo feature by tapping on its icon.

- Visit the Gallery and select your photo that has been successfully taken.

- Choose the best image in Motion Photo and apply ‘Quick Crop’.

How to activate it?
You can easily enable the Intelligent Optimization feature by following the steps below.
- Open the Camera app, then Settings.
- Tap on Intelligent Optimization.
- Choose the desired optimization level
- Maximum
- Medium: Speed up capture time by doing less optimization
- Minimum: Take pictures as fast as possible by not optimizing pictures after they are taken.
- Optionally, enable or disable the Scene Optimizer.
This feature allows for customization of photo attributes such as sharpness, contrast, and brightness. For example, selecting the minimum level results in more natural-looking images, while the maximum level increases detail and sharpness, which is ideal for zoomed-in shots. Notably, the quality optimization setting of these levels only affects Photo Mode.
If you enable Scene Optimizer, it automatically optimizes the color and contrast of pictures to make dark scenes look brighter, food looks tastier and landscapes look more vivid.
