Here’s how to use Samsung Pay on Galaxy Z Flip 3’s Cover Display
Many would say that Samsung Pay is the best mobile payment method out there, better than Google Pay and Apple Pay. Mostly because you can get points if you use them. But also because it works almost everywhere because of MST (Magnetic Secure Transmission). Although that is not available on the latest Samsung smartphones.
But with the Galaxy Z Flip 3, you can use it on Cover Display, without having to turn on the phone to pay for whatever you buy. And today, we’re going to show you exactly how to do it.
How to use Samsung Pay on Galaxy Z Flip 3’s Cover Display?
You can use Samsung Pay on Galaxy Z Flip 3 without actually unlocking the phone. Easy to use when in-store and need to pay very quickly.
- To do this, you just need to double-click on Cover Display or press the power button to open it.
- Next, swipe up from the bottom, as you would on a large display home screen.
- You will need to confirm your payment. You should be given a fingerprint for this, by default. So just press the power button to confirm yourself.
- Then tap the phone to the terminal to pay the way you normally do. And boom, you’re all set.
- It’s really simple, and it’s like using it on a large display, but it’s a little easier.

Add card into Samsung Pay on Galaxy Z Flip 3 Cover Display
Alternatively, you can also add a card to Samsung Pay. It may not appear in Cover Display if you do not have an additional card. Of course, in order to use Samsung Pay in a store or restaurant, you will need a card inserted anyway.

If this does not work as described above, there are a few things you can do to hope that you will improve.
Enable quick access on Galaxy Z Flip 3 Cover Display
This should also be enabled automatically, but you can enable Quick Display Cover Access.
- Go to the Samsung Pay app.
- Tap the three-line icon in the upper left corner.
- Then tap in Settings.
- Next tap on “Quick Access” at the top.
- Make sure the “Cover Screen” below is turned on.

What’s the Issue?
After the major One UI 6.1.1 update, some users have found that when they select an album group in the Gallery app, their photos are not visible. Instead, the album seems to disappear entirely.
The issue often happens when you have albums with the same name activated in two different features – the album hiding function and the album merge feature. When both are turned on, it can cause albums to disappear or not display correctly.
Samsung’s Response
Samsung is aware of this issue and the community moderator has confirmed that it’s a known issue affecting users after the One UI 6.1.1 update.
The moderator has also mentioned that the company is working on a solution to fix these bugs in future updates. In the meantime, you can check some temporary solutions to resolve it.
Quick Solutions
If you’re experiencing problems with your albums, there are two solutions you can try:
1.) Disable Albums with the same name in the Hide Album Feature
For that, you just need to open the Samsung Gallery app on your device >> tap the More Options icon (Three vertical dots) >> Select Hide Album option >> Look for albums that have the same name and turn them off.
2.) Turn Off the Album Merge Feature
To do so, launch the Samsung Gallery app >> click on the More icon at the bottom to enter Settings >> check the option for Merge Album and switch it off.
By following these steps, you should be able to see your photo albums again. You can also check software updates and a Gallery app update. If any of them are available on your smartphone, install them now to get a better experience.

Notably, the Korean tech giant hasn’t confirmed when One UI 7 will be released but some reports show that many flagship devices are already being tested internally. However, the recent information reveals that there may be some delays in the Beta rollout.

One UI 7 may expand One UI 6.1.1 features to non-flagship devices
Samsung Internet app is filled with a Secret Mode browsing feature. Under Samsung Internet, the company created a myriad of features all geared towards helping to keep you and your online experience safe.
Available for all Android phones, Samsung Internet brings user-centric security and privacy features to web browsing, enabling you to freely browse your favorite websites while helping to safeguard your privacy.
Samsung Internet also enables private environments with Secret Mode. This option offers the same browsing experience as you would normally experience on Samsung Internet but with extra privacy and protection.
Secret Mode won’t let cookies and browsing history for any websites you visit be stored on your phone. As soon as you close all the tabs from Secret Mode, cookies and browsing history will be erased, leaving no clue of what happened.
To use this feature, go to Samsung Internet, and from the main screen, tap on the Tab Manager icon on the bottom where you can manage your open pages. Activate Secret Mode by tapping “Turn on Secret mode”.

Available within the Quick Access page, the Privacy Dashboard offers a detailed record of weekly activities and settings that can be adjusted to suit your privacy preferences. To find this, go to the browser, tap the three lines icon, and select Privacy.
