My 6000mAh Samsung phone’s battery is draining horribly
The battery is an important aspect of Samsung phones, in the past year, South Korean tech maker has launched their mega battery phones including the capacity of 7000mAh, 6000mAh, and 5000mAh. These phones have been the dominant force that has been deriving the sales of budget and cost-effective device range in markets including India.
However, my Samsung Galaxy M12 with a 6000mAh battery has recently started draining a horrible amount of levels due to unknown reasons. When I jumped into the Battery usage section, the phone is showing some important apps and services that are keeping the battery occupied and sipping its battery levels.

The first comes Telegram, the app is running wild on my smartphone and it’s not just the phone, the entirety of the battery life use case has been changed since the installation of Telegram. Since, last full charge, the app has drained around 20 percent of the overall battery life and I’ve been only using the Telegram app frequently.
In terms of information, Telegram has been followed by Google Play services with 6.4 percent of battery. However, even after that, there are several apps and background services that have not been mentioned in the process but if you sum up the entirety of the process, the phone may be taking around 50% and decreasing the amount of battery level with the face.
As of now, Galaxy A12 has been performing very well but since recently, it’s consuming one of the most terrible battery levels that I’ve ever seen. Currently, I’ve not found any specific reason for this battery drain. However, I am hoping that the issue might get resolved after uninstalling Telegram and other apps.

Samsung is getting ready to fix a bug that some users have noticed on One UI 7 running Galaxy phones. The issue is with the Always On Display (AOD) feature in One UI 7, where the clock appears in the wrong position when using some ClockFace styles.
The Always on Display issue mostly affects users of the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Fold 6 who have One UI 7.0 installed. ClockFace is one the Samsung’s Good Lock modules which lets users customize their phone’s look, including the clock on the AOD screen. After applying some styles, the clock appears misaligned on the display.
A Samsung community moderator has confirmed that an update is on the way. The new AOD app update will fix the issue where the clock appears shifted or out of place. The company expects to finish rolling out this update to all users by early next week.
Once the update is released, Samsung plans to re-enable the use of ClockFace on One UI 7.0 for Flip6 and Fold6 devices. This means users will once again be able to fully customize their AOD screen without any issues.
Samsung is working to make sure everything works smoothly again. If you’ve seen your AOD clock looking misaligned recently on your One UI 7 device, this upcoming update will solve the issue. Make sure your phone is updated so you can get the fix as soon as it becomes available.
Samsung ClockFace 3.3.7 brings One UI 7 compatibility with easy clock customization
Some Samsung Galaxy users who updated to One UI 7 have noticed that the battery icon on the top of the screen has disappeared. If this happened to you, don’t worry. It’s not a major issue, and there’s a quick and easy way to fix it.
The missing battery icon issue happens only to users who were using the QuickStar module from Good Lock before updating to One UI 7. It means that the QuickStar is causing issues after the latest software update.
If you had turned off the battery icon in QuickStar while using One UI 6.x, it remained hidden even after the update to One UI 7. That’s why it’s missing now.
Samsung has acknowledged the battery icon missing issue on One UI 7. The community moderator has shared a simple solution to resolve it quickly. For that, you need to turn on the battery visibility icon.
To bring the battery icon back, open the Good Lock app on your phone >> tap on QuickStar >> go to Visibility of Indicator >> turn on the switch for Battery Icon. Once you do that, the battery icon should appear again on your status bar.
From April 7, Samsung started rolling out One UI 7, but the update has been paused for now because of a few bugs that users reported. The missing battery icon is one of those bugs, but it’s easy to fix using the simple steps given above.
If your Galaxy smartphone hasn’t received the update yet, that’s probably because of the pause in the rollout. Samsung has said they will share a new release schedule soon. One UI 7 bug makes Secure Folder content accessible to others
Samsung’s One UI 7 update has a serious issue that could put your private content at risk. The issue is with the Secure Folder, which keeps your personal files, apps, and photos safe and hidden. But a bug is causing some of that content to become visible outside the folder.
Notably, the Gallery app inside Secure Folder has a feature called “Auto create stories.” This feature collects your photos and creates short stories or slideshows. The issue is that these stories are showing up as notifications outside Secure Folder.
When someone taps the notification, they can see the photos, even though they’re supposed to be locked inside Secure Folder. This means your private photos might not be as private as you thought.

The Secure Folder issue has been spotted by SAMMobile on phones running stable One UI 7 like the Galaxy S24, Z Flip 6, Z Fold 6, and possibly the Galaxy S25. Samsung has paused the One UI 7 update for now, but the company hasn’t said exactly why. This bug might be one of the reasons, in addition to the unlocking issue.
Until Samsung fixes the issue, you can protect your photos by turning off the story feature. For that, you need to open the Gallery app inside Secure Folder >> tap the Menu option >> go to Settings >> turn off the “Auto create stories” option.
Disabling the Auto-create stories feature will stop the app from making photo stories and sending notifications outside the folder. It’s important to check this setting now to keep your private photos safe. Stay tuned for information.
Some Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra users are facing a serious ultrawide camera issue. The phone’s 50MP ultrawide camera is shaking a lot, which makes it hard to use. Users have shared videos online showing the camera view shaking or vibrating, with a very blurry viewfinder.
The ultrawide camera shaking issue of the Galaxy S25 Ultra has been reported on Reddit, Twitter, and Samsung’s official forums by users. It happens in almost every camera mode and even in other apps like Snapchat.
The camera shakes so much that users can’t take clear photos or videos with the ultrawide lens. You can check the instability of the ultrawide lens through a clip shared by a Redditor. At the moment, it’s not clear how many phones are affected.
Notably, the ultrawide camera doesn’t have optical image stabilization (OIS), which is usually used to keep the image steady. So, the shaking might be caused by an issue with the focusing system or other parts inside the camera.

Some users reported the shaking started after a recent software update, while others said it happened even with simple TPU cases (which don’t have magnets). This means the issue probably isn’t caused by a phone case.
Moreover, some Galaxy S25 Ultra users took their phones to Samsung service centers. The repair staff replaced the camera and said it was a hardware issue. So, if your phone is having this problem, it’s important to visit an official Samsung repair center.
Samsung confirms Galaxy S25 and One UI 7’s lock screen ‘Enter’ bug, shares workaround
Some Samsung Galaxy A35 users have noticed an issue with GPS accuracy while using navigation apps. The GPS location sometimes doesn’t show correctly, which can make it hard to follow directions.
Samsung has confirmed that this issue can happen in certain situations, which causes the GPS to temporarily lose its accuracy. Although restarting your phone might help for a short time, the issue can come back again.
