iQOO 13 outscores Galaxy S25 Ultra with Superior CPU performance
Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S25 Ultra was beaten by an alleged iQOO 13. It was recently surfaced on the Geekbench benchmarking platform. The handset secured higher performance scores than Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S flagship.
According to the information, the iQOO 13 featuring Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 (8 Elite) outscored Galaxy S25 Ultra. The device was equipped with Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon SoC with 4.32GHz max clock frequency.
The Snapdragon used in iQOO 13 had the same base clock (3.53GHz) as the S25 Ultra. However, the primary cores’ frequency is slightly lower (4.32GHz than 4.47GHz), resulting in a positive impact on the performance benchmark.
Multiple test results show that the iQOO phone surpassed the 10,000 mark in the multi-core performance test. It’s a big blog to the Samsung flagship, which didn’t surpass the 10,000 points market on the Geekbench multi-core test.
The difference in primary core frequency suggests that:
- iQOO is using Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 successor, while
- Galaxy S25 Ultra is using Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy successor.
The difference in RAM installation has also pushed the iQOO flagship to score well. The iQOO 13 was paired with 16GB RAM, while the previously benchmarked Galaxy S25 Ultra was equipped with 12GB of RAM.
Well, it doesn’t mean that the previous test scores are the final ones. Samsung could launch the Galaxy S25 series in January next year. The phone will improve its performance and efficiency as the software optimization is still underway.
One UI 7 could further solidify Samsung’s lead in the smartphone market. The company is rigorously working on improvements and optimization. These efforts will surely benefit Galaxy users by upscaling their Galaxy experience.
