Samsung to fix missing Good Lock menu in upcoming update

Samsung is planning to release a new update for its Good Lock app after some Galaxy users noticed a strange issue. The issue confused many users as it removed one of the important options.
Recently, after updating the Good Lock app, many users found that the Terrace menu was missing. Normally, there are three menus at the bottom of the app – Terrace, Plugins, and You. But after the update, Terrace disappeared for some people.
Many users were worried and wondered why the Terrace menu disappeared. A Samsung community moderator explained that this problem happens when the app has a problem connecting to the internet. If the network doesn’t work properly, the Terrace menu might not show up.
Moreover, the moderator mentioned that Samsung has already fixed this issue and will include the solution in the next update of the Good Lock app. So, users just need to wait a little for the update to arrive.
In the meantime, Samsung shared a quick tip that might help. If you see the Terrace menu is missing, try a quick fix. For that, close the Good Lock app completely (swipe it away from the recent apps screen) >> Open the app again. This might help the menu appear again.
Samsung is working hard to fix the problem with the new update. Once the new update is out, everything should go back to normal. Until then, try restarting the app.
Samsung could soon bring these two Good Lock modules globally

Samsung Good Lock’s Theme Park gets major revamp with faster theme creation, loses some legacy features

Samsung Good Lock app, a favorite for Galaxy device customization, has recently revealed a big update for its Theme Park module. Announced in April 2025, this revamp brings faster theme creation and smarter features.
The Good Lock team shared the news as spring blooms, highlighting Samsung Theme Park app’s new capabilities. Users can now create and apply themes instantly, skipping the old APK installation method. This saves time and simplifies the process.
Editable themes
You can tweak or update previously created themes without starting from scratch. This makes it easier to keep your device’s look fresh and personalized over time.
Smarter icon integration
Newly installed apps automatically adopt your chosen icon pack’s design. This ensures a consistent aesthetic across your home screen without manual adjustments.
Advisory for seamless experience
Theme Park now syncs better with other Good Lock plugins, like QuickStar and Keys Cafe. For the best experience, update all plugins to their latest versions via the Galaxy Store.
Some trade-offs are also here
Image-based customization, such as applying images to themes, is temporarily unsupported. This affects features like keyboard keycap styles and home screen folder shapes.
Certain Theme Park options, like setting themes per app or changing color palettes, are not available. The team noted that these limitations are temporary and plans to restore them later.
Samsung is reviewing app compatibility to bring back these features in future updates. For now, the focus is on delivering a smoother, faster Theme Park experience with improved usability.

Samsung rolls out Software Update App v4.3.25 for smoother One UI 7 installs

Samsung starts releasing the new Software Update App version 4.3.25 for Galaxy devices. Earlier this month, Samsung began rolling out the One UI 7 update, which was briefly suspended due to a serious bug on the Galaxy S24 series.
Now with Samsung pushing the Software Update App 4.3.25 version, it seems like a preparation for the major upgrade. The new version has popped up on some Samsung devices and carries no specific release notes for clarification.
From the time of arrival, it is expected to refine the One UI 7 installs. The latest version of the software utility app will improve the linkage with Samsung’s server, potentially refining the software download and installation process.
The new app version will be installed in the background. There is no necessity to manually install the latest version, it would either come with a security update or get installed itself when you reboot your smartphone.
One UI 7 Rollout
Samsung plans to roll out the One UI 7 update to the Galaxy S24 series, the Z Flip 6, and the Z Fold 6 in April. Starting next month, more older Galaxy flagship devices will receive the new OS upgrade around the world.
The Galaxy S23, S22, and S21 series will start getting the One UI 7 update in May 2025. Foldable phones, including the Galaxy Z Fold 5/4/3 and Z Flip 5/4/3, will also join the party along with S24 FE, S23 FE, S21 FE, and premium Tab S models.
Samsung also revealed that the non-premium Galaxy devices will get the Android 15 update from June 2025. The initial rollout will begin in June, but availability may vary by model, region, country, and network carrier.
The company has also added that the rollout may be suspended if issues are discovered during the expansion. Samsung wants to ensure everyone gets a bug-free software update rather than getting a buggy one in the rush of rollout.

Samsung Wallet testing two new nifty features for US users

Samsung is testing two new features of the Samsung Wallet app in the US – Send Money and Installment Payments. These features are available to users through an early access program.
The trial program starts on April 28, 2025, and will run until June 6, 2025. Eligible people will get an email invitation and also see a banner in the Samsung Wallet app. They can try the new features before they are released to everyone.
The Installment Payments feature helps users pay for in-store purchases in smaller amounts over time. There is no credit check needed, which makes it easier for people to buy more expensive items without paying the full amount right away.

This feature is powered by Splitit, a company that helps manage installment payments. It is part of Samsung’s Buy Now, Pay Later service. It works with some Visa and Mastercard credit cards. Eligible users can make purchases at stores that accept payments through Samsung Wallet and then choose to pay in installments.
The second feature of the Samsung Wallet is Send Money. It allows users to send money either online or by tapping another phone or debit card. The money goes straight into the bank account linked to the recipient’s debit card.
These two features of Samsung Wallet are only available in the US for now, but Samsung plans to offer them in more countries after the trial ends. This early access is a way for Samsung to test the features and make improvements before launching them for everyone.
