Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 PPT Controller update lets users control PowerPoint presentations

Just after the official launch of the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic, Samsung started releasing new firmware updates for these two wearables. At the beginning of September, the devices have received some new features that were not debuted pre-installed.

The new firmware updates have added and enabled some features that were earlier available on older Tizen OS-powered Galaxy watches. In order to further enhance the user experience, Samsung is now pushing new updates with smartwatch-focussed applications.

According to the latest information, the South Korean tech giant has started sending a new version of the PPT Controller App through the Google Play Store in order to adapt to the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic.

Back in 2017, Samsung had initially introduced the PPT Controller App for Tizen OS-powered smartwatches. This application lets users use smartwatches to control PowerPoint presentations that are quite useful for students and professionals.

What is PPT Controller?

For those unaware, PPT Controller allows users to use smartwatches to switch to the next or previous slide and stop the presentation. It also allows users to use the physical watch ring on the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic or the digital watch ring on the Galaxy Watch 4 to slide controls.

Aside from this, the PPT Controller will further display the remaining presentation time, and a vibration alarm can be added to notify the user when the presentation is over. However, the app requires the user to connect the watch to the PC via Bluetooth before it can work normally.
