Samsung Galaxy S20 new August 2021 update installs ‘Remaster’ image feature
Samsung has begun sending a new software update to the Galaxy S20 flagship series, which installs a brand new security patch and additional gallery feature called – Remaster image.
Initially, the new software update is rolling out in the South Korean market, while the international variants had already received the August 2021 security patch treatment just after the beginning of the month.

The Korean consumers of the Galaxy S20 series are now receiving a new and interesting feature named – Remaster function that lets them enhance the image using the power of AI even after capturing.

Introduced at the Galaxy S21 launch event, the Remaster image feature analyzes the image to find the optimum resolution, brightness, color, and sharpness to recommend an optimized image.
Reminding: The Galaxy S20 series was launched back in February 2020, which ships with Android 10-based One UI 2.1 out of the box. In terms of s/w, these flagships are eligible to receive new security updates monthly and a total of three major Android upgrades.

- Open device Settings
- Scroll down and tap on Software updates
- Hit the Download and install button.

Samsung is rolling out a fresh firmware update with a May 2024 security update for the Galaxy S23 FE smartphone in India. This update is already live for users in the US.
The latest security patch resolves 45 vulnerabilities, including 33 from Google. It includes 3 Critical and 26 High-level CVEs. The update also features 25 Samsung-specific fixes.
Moreover, the update brings system security improvements, stability optimization, functional enhancements, and bug fixes. With this update, the company aims to provide an enhanced and better user experience.
Samsung Galaxy S23 FE smartphone users are receiving a May 2024 security update in India with One UI build version S711BXXS3CXE3. The installation package size of this update is around 250MB.

Samsung Galaxy A33 smartphone users receive an Android 14-based One UI 6.1 update in Europe. The fresh update installs the April 2024 security patch to improve system security along with new features and enhancements.
