How to enable Always-on Display
- Swipe down from the Notification bar or Open the Settings app

- Select Lock screen
- Tap Always On Display

- Tap to show for 10 seconds
- Show always
- Show as scheduled
Select a Clock Style:
- Open Settings

- When an application is open in multi-window:
- Tap and hold the pop-up window to increase or decrease its size.
- Tap the top center or the window to move it.

- Tap the outside arrow to view in full screen.
- Tap cross to remove the app from multi-window.
- Now tap the three-dot menu and then the double-square option to select the transparency.

Meanwhile, there are even more settings and useful features hidden under the Samsung Developer option. As the name mentions, these options are extremely helpful for developers as they let you configure system behaviors. You can use them to improve app performance.
What is Samsung Developer option?

How to enable Samsung developer option?
The developer option comes hidden by default, however, it’s easy to reveal the menu and use the additional features. To take advantage and enables the Samsung developer option, head over to the Settings of your phone.
From here, scroll down and tap About phone. Enter the Software information section and tap the Build number 7 times. Your phone will ask you to enter the password. Once you enter, a pop-up message will appear that says ‘Developer mode has been enabled.’
To access these Developer options, go back to the Settings page and scroll to the end, there’s now a new option called ‘Developer options’.
How to fix Samsung phone lag issue on One UI 4.1
Starting November 2021, Samsung initiated releasing the Stable Android 12-based One UI 4.0 update to various Galaxy devices. In the next few months, the company is aiming to complete the major Android 12-based One UI 4.1 update rollout for the remaining Galaxy devices.

Below, you can check the steps to boot your Samsung phone in Safe Mode. And if you feel that your device is working fine in Safe Mode, this means the lagging issue occurs because of applications or malware loaded on your smartphone.
Here’s how to spot the cause of issue
Booting your device in Safe Mode will disable any 3rd party applications and purely run off the standard Android OS. This is to determine if there are any applications causing interference with the performance of your device.
- Restart your device.
- Hold down the Volume Down key as soon as you seem the Samsung Logo until the phone is fully loaded.
- Once your device has loaded you should see Safe Mode at the bottom of your device.
- Navigate throughout the device to check to see for any performance improvements.
If there is no difference in the sluggish/laggy performance of your device, please proceed to the next step.
You can now perform a Factory Data Reset on your device. However, do remember that this will remove “ALL DATA” from your device and bring it back to its default Factory Settings.
- Tap on Apps
- Go to Settings
- Find and tap on Backup and reset
- Tap on Factory data reset
- (If you have phone security enabled, you may need to enter your passwords in order to proceed to the next step.)
- Follow the prompts until your device reboots to commence with the Factory Data Reset.
After your device has fully loaded, please check to see if there has been an improvement in the performance of your device. If the issue persists, this may be due to the corruption of the firmware or there may be an issue with the device itself.
