BREAKING: Galaxy S21 FE’s future in threat as Samsung reportedly suspended production

Samsung Galaxy S21 FE

Samsung is going to launch its next generation of folding screen smartphones in near future. However, the chip shortage already killed the Galaxy Note series, and later became the reason behind the suspension of the expansion of the recently launched Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72 to more countries.

Now, it looks like the future of the company’s next Fan Edition smartphone is under threat as Korean media reported that the production of this upcoming device has been stopped with immediate effect. According to the info, Samsung suspended the production of the Galaxy S21 FE due to an AP (chip) shortage.

Adding to this, ETNews reported that Samsung has also notified the Galaxy S21 FE’s production partners about the suspension of the production and cancellation of orders for sub-materials. At the same time, they also asked to identify inventory in circulation or in production (WIP).

It looks like the Korean tech giant has allocated Qualcomm chips to its upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3, and suspended the Galaxy S21 FE model because there are not enough semiconductors. Following the rumors, Samsung insider Ice Universe also confirmed the production suspension of the S21 FE.

However, IceUniverse said that the reason behind the suspension of the Galaxy S21 FE is not the chip shortage, but because of the supply imbalance of battery-related parts. At the same time, it is reported that it will not affect other upcoming models such as Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3.

The image shows that the iPhone 15 Pro Max’s GPU performance dropped by 22% after just one run of the test. On the flip side, the Galaxy S23 Ultra’s GPU performance dropped by 28% after 20 runs of the graphics test. This gradual decline ensures users won’t notice a sudden drop in performance during gaming.

Samsung will release the Galaxy S24 series next year, which will use Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy processor. It’s reported that select countries will get Exynos 2400 in their S24 and S24 Plus, while the S24 Ultra will solely use Snapdragon processor.

The iPhone 6 Plus was the last Apple iPhone, which failed the durability test. The latest durability test video raises concerns that something is wrong with Apple’s latest iPhone 15 Pro Max as its back glass cracked within 5 seconds, even with the least force applied.
